This... Works.
I really, really thought my cleaning routine was effective. Then I bought a borescope from Amazon that connects to my Android cell and found heavy carbon and copper. I'm still working on the carbon just past the throat, but this product has gotten most of the carbon and all the copper out of this barrel that has ~400 rounds through it. Definitely a fan of Bore Tech Chameleon Gel Cleaner. I thought this tube seemed expensive for the quantity but after getting it, I think it will last a long time. I'll be buying more when this tube runs dry.

Surprisingly Not Good As the other products
I mainly use the Bore Tech C4 Carbon Killer, Copper CU+2, Shotgun Blend, Rimfire Blend, and their Eliminator products. They all work extremely well. I have a bore camera and I'm able to see the difference. When you fire a lot, the grooves of the bore tend to have burnt carbon fouling right at the edge where the land begins. Also at the chamber area, right where the tracks begin and the head of the case rests tend to have burnt carbon built up. The chemical products tend to get this area really well, especially if you soak it then follow up with a nylon brush. The gel I feel is not as good as the other products. What I found is the gel really attacks the land of the bore really well but doesn't seem to get into the grooves, especially the edge areas that tend to be hard. What I would do is cover a patch with this and using a jag I move back and forth short stroking it throughout the bore. I then follow up with a nylon brush with a little bit of the gel on the bristle. I can get the bore really shiny and by eye sight alone, it appears like it is perfectly clean. Once I begin to look through a bore camera, I can see where it is not cleaning especially the edges of the groove where it meets the land and near the end of the chamber where the head of the case rests. On a smooth bore, this product works really well since there aren't any sort of problem areas. Since I'm shooting 2 3/4" out of a 3" chamber, I find the carbon builds up a little behind and not directly on the edges of the chamber where it's harder to clean. Overall I am somewhat pleased with this product. It works really well if you go by eye sight alone. However, if you look at the camera with it, you can start to see places it's not cleaning very well. I think you should stick with the chemical products as they tend to get into the edges and corners and a nylon brush that can really clean your bore well.

Great product
The more you know, the more you bore tech. I have slowly been replacing my cleaning products with bore tech, as they seem to do the best job and I like that they are non-toxic products. The chameleon gel is a great compound for slathering on a nylon brush and scrubbing back and forth through a bore. My process, even for an extremely dirty bore with hundreds of rounds through after multiple shooting sessions is usually first a foam cleaner (wipe out) to get the heavy fouling out as a first pass. Once it’s done, I use the chameleon gel. I pass it back and forth through the bore, and it usually comes out black/grey. Then, a few patches of eliminator to clean the gel out. At this point, the bore is usually pretty clean. I then pass a patch of Copper remover, but honestly, the gel get’s it pretty clean. A bit expensive for the size of the bottle, though.

Perfect
Gives you an answer by color indication as to what type of fouling is in your barrel. Use this along with boretech eliminator.

Very good product.
I thought my rifle barrels were clean - until I used this product. Have been using Bore Tech carbon and copper removers for years and they work well. But this gel takes bore cleaning to another level.
