Fits true to size, nice

I was a little scared by the reviews saying it was too small, but I decided to follow the sizing guide and that worked well. The material is slightly thinner than I expected (i got black and the tag at the ribs shows through) and it isn’t the athletic spandex I hoped it would be—more like a polyester T-shirt with a little more elasticity. It fits wide at the waist but is snug at the ribs. I have a bigger bust, but it compresses well. The shelf bra is nice. The arms come inward more than I’d hope (as in the arm holes are slightly larger and the shape isn’t square) and armpit/side boob fat gets compressed a little if it shifts, but not if I’m wearing a sports bra. The leg openings have a stronger elastic than the rest so it creates a minor quad-butt but also doesn’t shift at all—this would be totally okay with a skirt or shorts, but is sort of annoying if you were planning to wear it without. For reference my measurements are 31-24-34, I’m 5’3.3, a little under 100lbs and I got an xs

Capezio leotards are the best!

I got this leotard because it was on sale for a great bargain. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do! I got the lavender color and it's perfect with my red hair. I'm 5'3.5" and 200 lbs. I carry most of my fat in my stomach. This leotard stretches perfectly and even sinches my waist a bit. It's so flattering!

Best classic leo

Bra-friendly and correct for any dance or yoga class. White is reasonably opaque, but wear skin colored undies. Size up 1 or even 2 sizes if you have a long torso: I am an 8 in street wear but an XL in Capezio leotards.

great material, fits well

Sheer, nice color, simple leotard

This was more sheer than I expected. I have this leotard in black from years ago and it is not see through like this one. It fit as expected because I knew to go up a size or two from owning one before. Simple nice leotard especially for those like me with bigger chests.

So great!

I bought this for a hoop/lyra performance and it fits like a dream! I do have a larger chest and I love the built in bra/tank. It supports and holds down my chest so I don't have to worry about anything falling out of place. I love it so much I wish they sold normal shirts for everyday wear because I would buy SO MANY of them!

Seriously, forget your pride and order two sizes up!

After reading consistent reviews saying that it was vital to order a size up, I considered a Medium for a while, but was concerned about the stated waist measurement - I have a thick waist, and it was better suited to a Large despite the fact that my bust and hip measurements fall far below 39". I saw the review of a woman with a similar height/weight to myself, and she said a Medium (one size up) was too small on her, so I ordered a Large (two sizes up). I am 5'0" and around 130lb, with an athletic build. I normally wear a US Women's 4. Though they say the Large is equivalent to a 10-12, it is OBVIOUSLY not. I could not be happier with the fit, honestly. the bust and hip areas fit well, and do not seem too large, while the waist fits comfortably snug. The material is attractive in texture, the color is beautiful, and best of all I won't be worried that anything is going to pop out or jiggle while dancing! My only complaint is that the bra insert in the front bottoms out only a few inches above my waist - but then again the leotard is made for women with larger bust sizes than me, so that problem may be unique to myself. I hate those bra inserts in camisoles, but this one is very comfortable, and although I would enjoy a bit more thickness/padding, to combat the visible nature of certain autonomic responses, it doesn't concern me overmuch. All in all, I ADORE this leotard! It is the first one I have ever worn or owned, and I can't believe I didn't discover them sooner! I'll probably order a few more colors. So excited to start dancing in it!

Comfortable.

Bought this color to match a green Aritzia skirt for my daughter's dance solo. Matches perfectly and looks good and fits comfortably. Love Capezio.

After buying an x-small leotard of the same brand (Capezio), we have found that it does fit small (even though I had checked the body measurements). For my almost 11 year old daughter size 'small' ended up being a good fit, and I got another style of a Capezio leotard, and it fit great as well.
