A great beer stein.

I like that this stein holds 2 twelve ounce cans of beer. It keeps the beverage cold for hours, inside. Outside, it keeps insects and falling debris out of the drink when the lid is down. It's easy to rinse out and dry. It has a bottle opener at the bottom of the handle. The handle feels right and sturdy. The lip edge is smooth.

Cool product

I’ve bought 3 of these for gifts. They seem well made and durable. Push the lid all the way down to drink, but it’s kind of stiff (may loosen up) and worry about bending it. Wish it had a latch to keep hinge closed more securely. Not leak proof but it’s not supposed to be. Overall really like it. Stanley is supposed to be guaranteed for life but I have found with another product that this isn’t always the case.

A wonderful mug.

I ordered the black Stanley tankerd. It arrived boxed well. It was quite substantial. With a little tinkering the lid sat flat on the tankerd. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Modern Stein

Sleek modern version of a beer stein. The lid does not seal but does a good job of keeping things from falling into your beer as well as preventing/reducing spills from sloshing. Love this thing, keeps the beer very cold if you pre chill it with ice water for five to ten minutes. The only improvement I can see is designing the hinge to make the lid swing a further away from the mouth of stein so it doesn’t feel like out about to brush your face.

No good for monogramming

The top has the Stanley logo etched in it so don't buy this thing thinking you can get it monogrammed.

Excellent Stein

Quality as expected from a Stanley product. Keeps your favorite beverage cold even in direct sunlight. The lid hinge might be considered a bit stiff, but that's not a deal breaker to me. Very happy with this product.

It’s a stein, but not sure how practical

Well, it is as described. Honestly, I thought it’d be a great solution to bring 2 beers (24oz) to our kids soccer games by just pouring and clamping down. Got one for my wife and myself - judge not, folks. Reviews suggested even with the suds these were liquid tight. Well . . . perhaps if you keep them upright. But don’t trust them to be liquid tight, they just leak a bit. One did much more than the other and I exchanged it - Amazon was super-quick in getting a replacement. So, if you want to pour beers, close the lids, keep them upright well, I guess it’s good for that. BUT you’re much better off just keeping the beer in their cans, bottles and pouring once you’re there. I think there are many better options than a 24oz beer stein with a lid if you’re going to do that. Speaking of that lid, if you’re looking to drink comfortably, it’s just a bit big and obtuse honestly. Just seems like you’ll poke your eye out. Best use-case was the following - i just put a 12oz beer can in each with lid closed to keep them cold. Worked great and used a different insulated mug to drink them. Yes that defeats the purpose but that my best use-case so far. Impressive and well-built but just not for me. Someone said they used theirs as a mini growler but again, unless you’re ok with beer seeping out, can’t imagine this working well.

Even guys with drinking horns compliment this mug's manliness

Always bring this stein to get togethers for my beers or my pop if I'm not drinking. Keeps drinks cold for 3-4 hours, and holds almost two beers (three sips worth didn't fit). It gets lots of compliments. And it's great for outdoor deck or beach/camping use since no bugs will get in the drink with the attached lid. Overall it's worth every penny. Even if it costed 60 bucks instead of 30 bucks, I'd still buy it.

Exceptional

This is the best beer mug for camping or for just being outdoors. Everyone when I went camping also liked it. I had a big slug crawl into my last mug so this time I got one with a lid. It also keeps the contents super cold. No more warm beer with slugs and bugs.

Hard to drink

Coating is coming off first time using. The lid gets in the way when trying to drink out of it.

Durable and effective.

Very good product, keeps liquid cold for a surprisingly long time. The only change I would like is to have the lid be able to open further so it is not touching the side of my face when I take a drink. But other than that I would highly recommend it...very rugged...I think this will last a lifetime.

Its Cool

Keeps beer or any drink nice and cold even in hot sunshine where the outside was hot to touch and the lid stops any of those pesky flying critters sharing your beer very happy, it has also a big flat base giving extra stability.
