Is okay, but might need to have extra makeup on hand
I bought this about two years ago to use with some other makeup for a stock photo shoot for a book cover. The idea was to have a zombie-esk looking hand coming up out of the ground. I wanted to have as much on the hand as possible so it would be easier for me to edit for the cover later. The author pushed the book back, so I didn't get to do anything with the appliance until last week. My friend, who ended up being the model, has very tinny hands so I had to trim some of the edging off. The latex that came with it was clumpy & didn't stick at all. I had a bottle & used that, but it wouldn't really hold it down. I ended up using 3D Gel around the edges to keep in place. The fake blood that came with it was way too thin, so I used some Mehron Stage Blood. It's really thick & makes the wound more realistic looking. All in all, it's wasn't too bad. I'm glad that I had extra stuff on hand to use with it, or I wouldn't have been able to use it at all.

people loved it and hated it for it's real look
It got the job done, people loved it and hated it for it's real look. My only complaint is the adhesive that came with it is worthless, and does not work at all. I knew this from the reviews, so I got some spirit gum, and even that didn't work great. But aside of the adhesive, it was great.

Not too shabby
This was a decent looking piece I used for a movie shoot. It was much easier to do something like this, using makeup and special effects, rather than actually cutting into the person's skin. The old way was causing an extreme amount of pain to my actors; I had a dozen lawsuits; and it also made me vomit.

Worked great for us. Fake blood makes all the difference
At first I was a little disappointed. A peice of rubber that didn't look very real. And the "glue" didn't work that well. However, I touched up the loose parts with a drop of superglue and once we added the included fake blood it was awesome. People would constantly ask what happened. He really enjoyed it.

Haunted House Worthy
I work in a haunted house and this appliance held up well for the seven nights we were open and survived so well that I've cleaned it and put it into my makeup kit for future use. I only used the appliance out of this kit. So I can't provide experience with the adhesive or removal solvent (I use medical adhesive for all of my appliances). and a higher quality latex. With good application, makeup, and a bit of blood it really grossed out not just the customers but other actors as well.

Looks great, difficulty with adhearing
This prosthetic looks awesome when applied with flesh colored makeup. Parts of it adhered really well, but a few places just wouldn't stick. All in all though, it stayed on through a night of zombie partying and got a lot of positive remarks. I loved it.

Convenient
Was a quick solution for affect purpose. Worked just as I wanted to and was easy to color to adjust to skin tone if I wanted. Directions were easy. Product is reuseable. I'm happy with it.
