Works as advertised...

The part works as advertised with quality build. This is not a criticism, more of a wish, but I would love if the terminals were maybe larger and spaced a little more to allow for additional flexibility in configuration. But, I digress. It's a great product and recommended for ease of install.

Small bar, not waterproof

Marketed as a “marine” bar. Not even close to weathertite. The cover is 1/4 off the base of the unit, leaving the terminals completely exposed Using it in an under hood application, we’ll see, but I’m not gonna hold my breath

Great Solution!

First off I like Blue Seas products, quality is always top notch and this buss bar was no exception. I had a mess of wires already on my positive post on my solenoid and needed to add another 12 volt feed. I got this to mount on the inner fender to make things neater and provide better access to future power needs. The cover seems secure and helps to prevent accidental shorts. I like the quality of this unit and mounting was no problem. Thanks Blue Sea!

Great product, but would've loved for terminals to be more covered / protected

Blue Sea makes some great products, and quality is top notch. I was surprised how much space there was between the cover and base - remember, this company makes products for marine use. I would've loved a better cover that covered more for safety. We are talking about electrical contact which are assumed to be used in a marine environment.

Nice grounding terminal, well made

The plastic backing is high quality, thick and well made. The screw posts, screws and nuts are good quality. Very easy to use and install. Looks like it will last for years. Installation screws / bolts & nuts are not provided.

Good quality bus bar

It's from Blue Sea Systems, so you know it's good! There's not much to say about this bus bar. It does what it says it does. Well made, and work well after 6 months so far, as expected.

These buses are heavy duty

These buses are heavy duty. Wish I could have found a lower amp solution for a lot less, but these are rock solid, well built buses. Get what you pay for ... sometimes. I ended up using these for low amperage LED lighting circuits, but at least I know my wiring is secure.

Order the one with the cap, it's cheaper

I used this as a common busbar near my battery to clean up several wires that had been added to my boat over many years. I like the cap but didn't need it given I was using it for ground wires. But, strangely, the version with the cap was 22% cheaper than the version without the cap. So, if you're looking for one without the cap, order this instead and throw away the cap. It worked as expected.

Makes things clean

How was my product, you ask!? Its awesome. It so simplifies things especially when you add the fuse box with it. Now I notice the new version has this AND the fuse box combined (which I bought for the third vehicle) ... guess I should have paid attention. But everything is simplified and is now neat and tidy. Not a million wires going to my battery ... and I can put this (and the fuse box) where ever I wish!

Ganz o.k. ABER: Abdeckung hält nicht wenn Anschlüsse mit Kabeln aufgeschraubt sind

Die Sammelschiene tut was sie soll, man kann daran mehrere Stromabgänge anschließen. Die Kabel zur Batterie habe ich außen auf die größeren Durchmesser aufgeschraubt. Leider passen danach die Abdeckungen nicht mehr auf die Muttern. So fallen diese immer wieder runter. Das ist nicht gut durchdacht. Da kann man gleich die ohne Abdeckung kaufen und sich selbst einen Schutz basteln. Letzteres werde ich auch machen und die Abdeckungen entsorgen, weil unnütz. Schade.

Guter Stromverteiler

UDie Verteilerschiene ist stabil und ist dank der Abdeckung relativ sicher. Schön ist auch das Material. Aus Edelstahl sind keine Korrosionen zu erwarten .

Schöne Stromschiene

Die BusBar ist gut verarbeitet und hat eine Kappe um zu verhindern das man aus versehen auf die Stromschiene fasst. Sie lässt sich einfach verbauen und anschließen. Es ist ein gutes Produkt.
