Fun, Intellectualy Stimulating toy that will Grow with your child!

Rockstar! Awesome toy for my 3 year old. Ordered for my nephew as well. FINALLY a toy he can enjoy with his big (8 year old) brother. I recommend Mom or Dad play with the child the first few times to show then how it's done. Some of the pieces can be frustrating for little hands to manipulate, but it's SO MUCH FUN. Daddy will love getting in the game as well. I also recommend keeping the punch out cards so you can put the pieces back when play is done (I like toys that get put away properly) and a small Tupperware for the round red/green connectors and eyes (that way you know where they are). I can defiantly see us buying more in the future as I know this is a toy he can enjoy and grow with for YEARS. Fun for girls too, don't let the blue and green fool you :>

Fun building for kids (and dads)

I like playing with these as much as my 4 and 6 year old boys do. They are a lot of fun and very easy to put together. There are PLENTY of different pieces to make all sorts of unique robots and enough pieces in general that you can make two to three good sized robots at the same time. Keep the box, as my boys enjoying looking at the different robots on the box and recreating them. The worst part is trying to insert the rope like pieces into their holes as they tend to be hard to push in there, let alone for the not so nimble fingers of a four year old. It is a great gift. get a bin for the parts or you'll be losing them as some pieces tend to be pretty small.

SO much fun!!

We love this!! The pieces of the robots are super easy to take apart and put back together. They have instructions on how to build several robots, and not only my husband, but I too, was able to make an awesome robot for our son. He is only 3 so doesn't put them together as show in the pictures, but he likes to mix and match and make own robot creations. They were fun to play with and kept his attention. Yes, there is a lot of pieces, but hello, your buying a robot making kit. You should be well aware there are PIECE required to MAKE robots in this toy. My sons takes the box out all the time and wants to make new ones.

Great for any type of imagination

Very high quality toy. If your child is very creative and actually likes to build things that make sense this is a great toy. If your child just likes throwing stuff together and creating as they go this is awesome for that to.

Got this for my son's 5th birthday. He loved it and had a great time building some of the suggested robots and countless creations of his own.Just a heads up though: the foam pieces come in sheets and have to be popped out individually leaving all kinds of small pieces. We've got a crawler in the house so I would have appreciated that fore knowledge.

Fun!

Bought this for my son's 5th birthday. It took under 1/2 an hour to punch out the 250 (?) pieces--personally, I didn't see that as a big deal, but I see a lot of complaints about it here. The first robot we built together and he loved finding me the pieces and then figuring out how the pieces fit. The second robot he built alone with just a question or two. Now he loves sitting down to build his own robots (not following any instructions; just designing his own). We find it to be a great additon to his building set collection! My daughter (6) wants the horse set now. :)

Big hit with our Grandson!

Our grandson was three when I bought these. He loves them! He has gotten pretty creative with these; my husband and I have played around with them. I liked them so much I did get more for his fourth birthday. I did cut out all the pictured robots and put them on 3x5 cards and after he made the ones with out directions he had fun naming them! I know they are rated for an older age but he does great with them, and it is great for rainy days. He plays with them for hours! Purchased the ocean, tiger/panda, and the dragons.

Neat toy, but be careful of the small parts!

I got this for a friend's son. He's 3, but he still kinda thought that some of the small pieces looked like candy and wanted to put them in his mouth. His mom had to take this away from him and she'll wait a little longer before letting him have it to play with. Other than that, they seemed satisfied with this toy set and are eager to begin building things with it!
