Be sure to check size chart before ordering!
During the pandemic I got a pair of Capezio Daisy shoes in size 8.5 to use for Zumba online classes which I was doing on the laminate floor of my kitchen. Since the in-person classes have started up again at my local gym with a wood floor, I continued to wear the Capezio shoes there. After 3 years I felt it was time to get a new pair of shoes and decided to try these. My street shoes are size 8.5 (ladies') and I ordered 2 sizes down to 6.5 as the chart and other commenters said. They are still a bit big and I think a size 6 would have been better. The elastic is already stitched on but it feels too tight for me. I may need to cut the elastic and use the Bloch covert elastic instead which I find more comfortable. Quality of the materials used seems better than my Capezios. I plan to keep these but get a size 6 next time. Edit: (a few days later) I decided to return the sz 6.5 after all and get the sz.6. They came quickly and I am changing my rating to 5 stars. They fit perfectly now. Elastic ankle strap is still tight but easily fixable.

Love this shoe. Fits large and wide.
I wear US women size 6 or EU 36 in 90% of street shoes. Always medium width. I got my first pair of these shoes in a size 4C (medium). They fit snugly when I first tried them on, but after 4 months of adult beginner ballet (twice a week), they started to feel very loose. I can still wear them, but they would sometimes bug me during center. Also, I had to pull the elastic so tight, that they would dig into my heels without socks on. I just sized down to a size 3.5B (narrow), and they fit much better. Mind you, I do not have narrow feet, so these fit very wide. I’m wondering if I should size down to a 3B just in case they become too loose after some wear, but as the size 3.5B is on sale right now for $8, I will keep them and reassess after a few months. In comparison, I wear sizes 3.5C in the Bloch Performa, 5.5B in the Bloch Synchrony (tho this shoe just doesn’t fit right for me), and 7 medium in the Capezio Juliet. Aside from the sizing, I’m a big fan of these, and their are my leather full sole shoes of choice. I have also tried the Capezio Daisy, but these shoes mold much better to my feet. TL;DR: Amazing shoes. Size down 2.5 sizes from your street shoes (for women) and consider narrow sizes even if you have medium-width feet.

Bloch sz 4.5 versus Capezio Daisy sz 7.5
Needed nude tone shoes for my daughters 5th grade musical and I ordered both the Bloch and the Capezio Daisy. My daughter's foot length is 8.75ish inches, she wears street shoes medium width kids 4.5 / ladies 6.5. So I ordered according to reviews and/or charts. For the Bloch I ordered the 4.5 and a Capezio 7.5. Both are very good shoes,. The uppers are soft leather, the soles are suede, both outside length from heel to toe is about 9 inches, both has the tie bow to tighten. The differences you can see in my pictures. The color of the Bloch is more pinkish, the inner sole is suede (whereas the Capezio inner sole is cloth), the outer sole is shorter than the Capezio and the top of the Bloch shoe is a tad wider. I think on both shoes I could have gone a size smaller or narrower and it would still fit. But I'm going to keep the Capezio and return the Bloch not because the Bloch is not a good shoe (it is very good and comparable) but because the color is too pink for our needs and the top of the shoe was looser (baggy) on my daughter's feet. Price was within a $3 difference ($22 to $25).

Great feel!
These ballet slippers are for my exercise of kballet stretches and techniques even though I am not a dancer. The separation of the soul is a great plus for flexibility. They are comfortable and sturdy. Enjoy them very much!

Measure Your Feet For The Perfect Fit
The reviews seem to be from individuals who are not trained dancers because the advice on the sizing is blowing my mind. You can’t just blindly follow reviews telling you to go down two sizes, and they have a literal size chart so you don’t have to. Their ratio from normal sizing to Bloch sizing changes with bigger feet, like my own. I wear a 9 street shoe, 9.5 in heels, and I ordered both a 7.5 and an 8. I picked the 7.5 was based on reviews and the 8 was from me measuring my own foot at 26 cm. The 8 fit perfectly, the 7.5 was just a tad too snug in the toe box, but still usable as a backup pair. Overall I’m very pleased with them, it’s been a very long time since I trained in dance so these fit my needs as a beginner.

Order 1-2 sizes down!!
These is a great / beautiful shoe. ONLY comment is that they run large. I’m usually a size 7.5 wide or an 8…so I ordered an 8 wide and a 7.5 wide and I had to send them both back and purchased a size 6.5 wide instead. Never dreamt I’d be a size 6.5 in anything! But the shoe is great and I had no problems sending the larger sizes back and ordering the smaller size. (Also, I said zero arch support because that’s to be expected from a ballet shoe, esp with split sole. It’s not a bad thing!) Thank you.

Didn’t fit
I ordered in what should have been my size, but it was way too big. Looked nice quality though.

Great quality real leather ballet shoes
I’m glad I listened to the reviews. These shoes are huge if you order your regular size. My daughter is a size 8.5 in women’s so I got her a 6.5 narrow and it’s a perfect fit. Going to order another one same size and one in 7 for her to grow in. For the price they’re charging you can’t go wrong. I recommend these shoes.

Too small for me, but high enough quality that I'm going to order another pair
The shoes are very pretty and have a high quality. In street shoes I am a 7.5-8, so I chose a 5.5, and they fit on my feet but were MUCH too tight for me. I used the socks + hairdryer method to stretch them out, and theyre okayish now, but I'm going to get new shoes. I might get a larger pair of these shoes, if I can decide on which size would best fit. If you are in between street shoe sizes or it depends on the shoe, then aim for a larger pair of these shoes.

Nice shoes
These slippers are real leather and great quality. As I expected, my daughter finds the single elastic too tight on her foot. I hear that the slipper will stretch over time, not sure that is so for the elastic area too. I ordered size 3 (she's 10yrs old and wears a 3 or 4 shoe). I kept them, but I think a 2 or 2.5 would have fit better. The front of the toe is baggy and loose.
