Great value; Both durable and elegant...
These Libbey Vina 13 oz Margarita Glasses have just the right amount of weight and thickness of glass to be both durable and elegant. They are 7 and 5/8 inches tall, 4 and 6/8 inches across at the top and 3 and 1/8 inches across at the base. The glass is crystal clear with no bubbles or other imperfections that I can find in them, and although it seems that some reviewers do run them through their dishwashers, I have not. I hand wash and dry mine so that there are no spots left on them. The glasses are a great value, they are MADE IN THE USA (which I always appreciate), and I am very pleased with my purchase. Here is my favorite Margarita recipe for you to try. It makes a small batch: PERFECT MARGARITA One 12 oz can of frozen Limeade (thawed) 2 cups el Jimador Blanco Tequila (100% Agave) 1 cup Bols Triple Sec 2 ½ cups water 1 cup regular Budweiser Beer ½ cup orange juice Mix above ingredients in a pitcher. Serve over ice, crushed ice, or shaved ice. Can be garnished with a lime wedge if desired.

Good, Basic Margarita Glasses With One Big Flaw
I agree with the other reviews of these glasses that mention positives such as good value, pleasing shape, etc. However, there is one flaw which for me is annoying and that is the 2 raised casting lines that run down the length of the stem. While holding the glasses by the stem, 5 out of the 6 glasses I received had casting lines that were crude enough and raised enough to cut through even the most delightful haze of several margaritas, and I found myself wanting to take them into my basement and somehow grind the stems smooth rather than continue with my salsa making duties. If you're buying these glasses as cheap, who cares, possibly/probably disposable party containers then I seriously doubt anyone will even notice the casting lines, but if you're someone who's enticed by the lovely shape and and crystal-like appearance of these glasses in the photographs then be aware that you will not get fine quality at a bargain price. You will get serviceable quality at a fair-market price.

Great Glasses and fullproof recipe for margarita included in my review
These margarita glasses are excellent! They are surprisingly sturdy. They have withstood several runs in the dishwasher without any problem. I've even knocked one over accidentally (while empty...don't fret) and there wasn't any damage to the stem compared to my old set. I believe these glasses will withstand the test of time. The design is perfect and it holds an appreciative amount spirit. I really enjoy sipping a nice margarita with these glasses. Let me share my recipe for margarita while I'm at it: -2 parts 100% Agave Tequila - I use 1800 Silver -1 part Gran Marnier OR Cointreau - I'm still debating on which one is better...to each their own! My wife seems to prefer the Gran Marnier and I like the Contreau -1 part FRESHLY squeezed lime juice - IMHO it's crucial to get ripe fresh limes. Libby Vina Margarita Glass, Set of 6
..salt, lemon juice, lime juice (just a bit) and tequila; all I was missing was the glass to drink the margarita from. I finally decided on the Libby Vina Margarita Glasses. I have used the glasses for several weeks now and have found that they are extremely light - so light they feel alarmingly fragile. The stem's small diameter limits it's usefulness to an anchor point for pinky or ring finger, and the thinness of the glass at the bowl seems to transmit the heat from my hand to the margarita rapidly, melting the ice extremely quickly. However, when I see several of the glasses on a serving tray I know not all is lost. There are no glaringly visible flaws in any of the six glasses in the set, which, at this price point, I do find pleasantly surprising, and, light or not, I have yet to break one so am becoming more comfortable with their use. If budget is a consideration in your search for margarita glasses, these might be just the thing you are looking for.

Decent glasses for the $$$
These are decent glasses for the money. When I first received them, I thought they were a bit thin and might break easily, but they have held up very well. After about 6 weeks of use, I still have 6, so they are not that thin. :-) I hang them with my wine glasses, and they get hit when I put the other glasses away, but they have neither chipped nor broken, even when hit hard enough to ring pretty well. I would buy them again. Update 3/22/2009: These have held up very well. None of them have broken, which is amazing to me. Update 3/24/2010: Just increased the rating to 5 stars. :) A year later and I still have all six of these and not a single one is chipped or cracked. Really surprising, but in a good way.

Excellent glasses
My wife loves margarita's but unfortunately we don't get out to restaurants to often, so I picked these up so I could teach her how to make them at home. These glasses are probably the best deal on Amazon, they are constructed of a nice thick glass and a sturdy base. Treated well these glasses should last for years to come. They are also some of the lowest price glasses available on Amazon, other comparative glasses I have found for the same price are either cheaply made or plastic. If you are looking for a set of glass margarita cups for an excellent price, these are the ones. Also thumbs up to Amazon for shipping them very safely!

BE CAREFUL!
the product is a normal, slightly larger sized margarita glass. I wasn't expected to be wowed by it, however the quality just isn't really there because it almost looks like the top of the glass was glued to the stem. also please BE CAREFUL when you take them out of the shipping container and when washing them. my fiance took them out and was washing them before he was going to put them in the cabinet and due to the poorly cut glass THE STEM SLICED HIS HAND OPEN! i also noticed some shard edges on 2 of the others....
