Beginner Board. Spend more on a quality board.
Let’s get that 3 star out of the way first. This board is fine as a beginner, “never thrown soft darts before” board. Lots of options, fairly sturdy, easy to get going quickly. The packaging is awful, and shipped naked. The very short, very light (10g!) short tip darts do their thing. The board, however, is extremely shallow and will not hold long tips. We have 18g darts and 1 in ten throws will stay put. We spent more time picking them up off the floor than pulling them out if the board. They stay with short tips, so maybe something that should’ve been stated in the description. Either way, probably stay under 16g, maybe 14. Mounting instructions are off by nearly 1/4” between top and bottom mounting holes. MEASURE THE BOARD ITSELF. It’s fine for first timers, but we’re def not happy with it.

This dartboard turned my dog into a cat.
I ordered this dart board to have an indoor game to play with my kids. When it arrived I hung it on the wall and asked them if they wanted to play? Barely acknowledging me from their computers they all said no. Well fine, I figured I might be able to teach my dog to play. Since it comes with two sets of darts, I figured it would be easy to teach her to hold a dart and how to throw. After getting bit for a third time I kinda gave up. Apparently I was upsetting the balance of nature since dogs like to chase things, not throw them. Not one to be deterred easily I figured I would just play by myself. So I put some batteries in the game, it doesn't come with any by the way, and set about playing. Now my dog wanted to play. After sending the first dart sailing toward the board, my dog got so excited she chased after it with all the excitement a Husky can manage, which is a lot in case you don't have a husky. She promptly ran head first into the wall. Of course I thought it was hilarious, for about the first hour. My wife who was trying to take a nap in the room on the other side of the wall found it a bit less funny. I guess I should have listened when she was yelling at me to knock it off because halfway through the second hour of my dog's kamikaze like enthusiasm, it happened. All of that slamming into the wall had weakened the dry wall and she went crashing through to the next room like some werewolf on meth. After my wife calmed down I was able to get the mess cleaned up and get back to playing only to realize my dog wasn't moving anymore. I could see she was still breathing so I knew she wasn't dead I guess all that playing wore her out. She started twitching in her sleep like she was having a dream, raised her head and meowed at me. I thought she was just having a really weird dream, like those ones where you go to school naked but after I let her out to go to the bathroom she climbed the tree in the backyard and couldn't get down. I immediately took her to the pound. I hate cats. All in all I like this dartboard. The heckler gets to be a little annoying but you can turn that feature off. I'd definitely buy it again.

Perfect easy, inexpensive fun! PRO TIP: put a soft mat in front of it so the tips don't break
3 x AAA batts, G11 is Cutthroat Cricket and Start button switches players - that's all you need to know! =) 3 x mounting holes... so you need a tape measure and a level, screws not included Like: The hit sensor mechanism is great... if it sticks, it'll count it Readout panel tracks what numbers are remaining and points Sound effects are great... announces when to switch players, hits & points Included darts are simple great, nice weight Love the dart holder slots on the side of the board! I'm 5'8", which is standard bullseye height ... with weak batts and our ceiling lighting it was a little tough to see the readout... just had to hunch down a little to catch the right light reflection... maybe a little usb light could be mounted.

Great for kids who want to learn to play
This is totally a kid's board. It's too small and light to be taken seriously at all. I mean, it has a freaking "heckler" mode that gives you s**t when you don't throw well, and it's on by default (yeah, you can turn it off). I have a grown-up bristle board in the game room, and I bought this for my 5-year-old daughter for her room. She loves that she can play darts, too. Durability may be a issue if your little ones are prone to abusing their things, but if they actually want to learn and play properly, this will last. So if you're looking to add this to your nice game room, look elsewhere. If your little ones want to play, too, this is perfect for them to learn on.

Nice little starter
Great board for my kids to throw and learn on. Tips do break easy on my darts.

I see a lot of reviews on here saying the darts suck and arrive broken
Ok. So 100% honest review. For the $ this is INCREDABLE! I see a lot of reviews on here saying the darts suck and arrive broken, mine as well. This is a BEGENNER soft tip dart board. ALL soft tip darts will bounce out if they are thrown wrong. Too hard, too soft, wrong distance from the board, so on and so forth. Bottom line is this is a great dart board 4 the price. It is entry level. It comes with cheap darts. That's a given for the price. Go buy yourself a $20 set of bullshooter darts and u will not have a problem. In my personal opinion.......usually doesn't mean much.....but this is designed to see if ppl like to play darts. And if you do.........then and only then......go drop $150 on the nice arachnid professional regulation hard tip bristle board. In other words have fun with this and find out if u really want to play darts or just play a casual round of darts.
