Works Great in a Hot but DRY Climate
I bought this beanie to wear under my motorcycle 1/2 helmet and it fits perfect. I can ride 3-4 hours and this never stops cooling and it seems to last longer than that. The fit on my size 7 1/4 head is perfect. The key to these cooling vest/beanie/skull rag products is that they are by far best worn in a hot but DRY climate. I wear mine in Arizona and they work great! They will not work well in a humid climate because evaporation is a key element to how they work, and evaporation is not really present in a humid climate. Ugh! That's why those climates are awful. I ordered this product from Amazon and it was literally on my head the very next day, their service is just amazing. A well recommended product if you are living in the climate that this product was designed for.

not worth it
the description isn't clear with this, but the cooling part is only in the head band area. the top head covering is just a thin piece of material without the stuff in between that soaks up the water. it does make my head feel cooler when i need to wear it around the house to beat the heat. but, when i use it to exercise, such as the bike trail, it didn't seem worth it. the cooling effect is not strong enough and the material holds heat and is itchy, especially in the sun. the style and the way it fits my head made me look like some kind of biker pirate, not flattering. i haven't used it since

Fits well in larger heads 7.5 to 7 3/4 size
Fits my large head well. Haven’t used it for cooling yet. It’s thicker than I thought but it may well work to cool longer. Wish it came in white though

great product but could not wear under my motorcycle helmet because of all the stiches that makes it thicker in various points. so after 15 minutes it starts hurting as motorcycle helmets are not to be worn loose.. a pitty. I guess a seamless product would have been ideal.

Seems to be worth it
Summer was kind so i really don't know but you can put an ice pack inside it and on your head and it will hold,like a blue ice. Found that a plus. Same color as my fav sports teams

awesome product but catch
The cap works i used to sweat profusely being out in the Texas sun all day not anymore the only bad part is it has developed a bad odor. N according to the label u can't use soap thought about using a special fabric detergent but i love it nevertheless

Doesn't work.
I'm in my 50s and work in Cambodia where it's 95-105F every day and 50% humidity. I have cooling towels and Columbia cooling shirts and love them. Those are highly effective at cooling me in the oppressive heat. I also have a bead based cooling headband which I'm not fond of. This hat only holds a little water, runs over my face and down my back. No noticeable evaporative cooling. I'm going back to rapping one of those ridiculous bright blue cooling towels around my head.
