A staple for trout jigging
The grass hopper color consistently catch stocked trout. The hooks are sharp and stiff. The eyelets are free of any obstructions preventing the line from feeding through it. Additionally the eyelets are rounded and smoothed as to not catch or cause abrasions to the main line as your jig passes it in the water. The only issue I have found with these jigs is they are not very durable. I can usually catch 2 fish on a jig before it has been torn up beyond being fishable. The tube seems to get shredded by trout teeth and doesn’t hold up as well as some of PowerBaits other soft plastics. However, the tubes are easy to remove from the jig head and you can pop those into other tubes so it’s not a total loss.

Great for rainbow trout and grayling
I simply jigged these in my favorite rainbow/ grayling hole in Alaska and they SLAY! The fish could not resist them. I hooked twice as many fish as my friend that was drifting flies. Combine with a bobber for deadly drifts too.

Wore them out
Caught about 100 bass on these in just a few days, it was almost too easy. Lots of fun to fish. I use a small sliding weight above a swivel, then tie on about 30 inches of 3-pound leader and tie these directly on. You can then cast them 25-yards and the fish can't resist them. Have fun!

When it works, it works!!!
Went out to eagle valley reservoir, crushed the multi species fishing. Trout,bass,crappie and golden shinners, to much fun in one day. If you are lucky, one tube will last a day of fun. Didn't have a much luck anywhere else, but at eagle valley its was the only thing and only one catching all day consistently.

Creek bass love these
These things flatout attract fish. In my area there is a ton of fishing pressure anywhere you go, but these little things will catch bass when nothing else works. Caught a 3lb largemouth on my third outing with this thing, but most catches are below 10 inches in length. Haven't had the same level of success in lakes, however, possibly because there the pressure is just too high. It also rips fairly easily, got it lightly snagged and it tore at the jighead, and after a couple catches it was useless.

These things work consistently well for stocked trout!
The 1/32 oz Green/Brown Grasshopper Atomic Tubes work awesomely well on stocked rainbows. They are one of my go-to lures, and though I haven't been fishing for very long, these things seem to work consistently well for me. You can't cast them far at all (maybe 10 yards) but don't need to; the trout gobble them up before your eyes. Definitely a must try. As for rigging setup, I suggest tying the lure directly using a 12" fluorocarbon leader, then a barrel swivel, then your main line (or your main line directly if you're using fluorocarbon). The one time I didn't catch any fish with these was when I tied a snap to my braided main line, then connected the lure; I think the fish got spooked by the extra rigging and avoided this bait. So definitely tie direct, and use fluorocarbon if your trout are line shy.

1/32 size is better
These atomic tubes work well for trout, but I would recommend the 1/32 size instead of the 1/64 size that I purchased (all of the 1/32's were out of stock). The 1/64 weight is just too light to properly cast, even on ultralight tackle. These baits in general seem to be experiencing some sort of supply issue, as they are difficult to obtain.

Works very well with small fish
I caught a lot of fish with this but only very very small fish. Like almost as big as the bait. Don't know what to make of it.
