This thing is a fish catching machine. One of the best lures I've ever used.

I've caught so many Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden trout on this thing, if the fish are not biting on a Berkley mouse tail, there's no fish. It appears to catch anything that is a trout or remotely related to a trout. Fish with confidence. I usually fish it by hooking a #8 octopus hook through the head or partially through the head and out the body, on a 4 lb line. Put a small split shot sinker above that, then above that, a float (I use the EZ trout magnet float). Adjust the float depth depending on depth of the water.

they absolutley catch trout

this product arrived 4/24/23 and i used them the next day and got my limit of trout in 3 hours off one worm great product and i also used the chartruse and green last week and also got my limit i like these better than powerbait dough not messy.

Great product that catches trout

Fantastic product that can be fished on many rigs that consistently catches trout. Very durable, the most trout I have caught on one mice tail is 6 before it tore completely through, and I bet had I continued to use the half still on the hook, I would have continued pulling in trout. In moving water they ridges and playability of these really mimic both an insect and minnow that seems to get the trout in my area to bite at all times of days and in all kinds of conditions. Great product with lots of available resources online and on YouTube to help improve your fish catching ratio.

Planter trout love these!

Catch trout with these. As good or better than power bait especially for planter trout...caught a 4.5lb trophy planter this summer on one. Give them a go, you will catch trout!

Wickedly effective if you understand a few things about them..

A few things to know about these right off.... First, they're not overly buoyant. If you use a heavy hook, they're going to sink and you'll never know it unless you test it first. They will float thin wire hooks though. I use a mosquito hook for a floating style of setup. A bait holder style hook also helps. I've found that without it, the bait will slide and foul a hook set sometimes. If you add your own flavor (I do) you might have a problem with them sinking under the added weight of the flavor/ scent. They are very effective on trout. I've used them with success on stocked lakes and wild trout rivers. I've found no difference personally fishing for wild vs raised trout with these baits. My personal favorite way of rigging them is on a drop shot. Tons of action... All in all, a great little bait...

Tight lines

Cracking artificial bait it hooks well and attracts many species salt and freshwater. Tried various different hook set ups and it doesn’t seem to matter much fish just find them appealing

Catches fish

I was a bit suspicious about these as they don't look like anything found in nature. I was recommended them by a fellow fisherman and found that they work surprisingly well. I fish in a loch with stocked Rainbow trout so not sure how these are with other species or wild fish.
