Gave my mom back some independence

My Mom hurt herself a while back and wasn't able to bend one knee. Our toilets were really low, and she was having issues using those. I got one of those high things that pop on from a pharmacy store, but it was ill fitting and we took it off after a few days because it became clear it was not useful. I found this online, and I didn't really know it existed. I was looking at other brands and this one kept popping up. Looking through these, I saw they also had a package for a thin bidet and I was able to see how this would work with that. I had just very recently installed a bidet on her toilet, so I was thrilled to see this would work with the kind of bidet she has. Honestly install was a snap. I spent more time figuring out how to take the old seat off. It was so easy and then it was done! Let me tell you, it is NICE. It feels really smooth, there's no burrs or anything. It's soft to the touch. It's just really nice and screams high quality. And even better, she was able to use it right away! This really gave her back her autonomy over how she uses the toilet. Seeing her become independent again has been wonderful!

Durable and easy to clean

I bought this for an elderly parent. The price scared me a little but after using it for about a month it is worth every penny! It was easy for my Husband to install. It's very sturdy and the perfect height. We got the elongated style which is so much better than a standard potty chair seat! It lifts up so it's very easy to clean the seat and the toilet underneath. This is a very well engineered product and built with quality in mind.

AWESOME AND WORTH THE MONEY!!

I’m an obese, disabled woman with severe back and knee pain (osteoarthritis and lumbar spinal stenosis). I’m going to have my second surgery soon, so I invested in this seat. I already needed a higher seat, and this one is fabulous…reduces strain and reduces stress going into surgery knowing I already have this at home. It supports over 300 pounds easily (can support up to 1,000), wipes clean perfectly, and I can still use my bidet with it! I removed the arm supports because it was too tight in the space, but I have support around the area (no problems). So, don’t freak out if you add the arm supports but then it won’t fit…they’re super duper easy to remove -just follow instructions. I’m a single woman (52 years old) and put it together myself when I was feeling energized and on pain medication. So, if I can do it…that says a lot about how easy it is to assemble and install. The assembly directions were on point and simple, and all parts were included. I highly recommend it!

The best elevated toilet seat I've ever used A+++ for design and safety

This is the best of all I've tried. Its easy to install, easy to clean, and its rock solid when in place. I have not experienced any "splashes" outside the toilet and its 100% sturdy for my 300 lb frame. The plastic it's made from is so much easier to clean than the typical soft plastic on cheaper brand seats. It was completely worth the cost. I also like that it looks very stylish--like a toilet seat designed by Apple..LOL...

Feels sturdy and good quality.

I was searching for this for my mother. I needed to raise her toilet height and provide grab bars. She can not mount grab bars on her walls around her toilet. I also thought she would appreciate the bidet feature. Most toilet risers I have seen with built in grab bars seem bulky with plastic that feels like it would hold germs. They also usually have a small toilet seat opening and don't fit without some wobble. This product met all our needs with a large opening that looks like a standard toilet seat and is easy to reach in for wiping yourself if needed. The water temperature without a heating feature was not that cold or shocking. It is nice that you can adjust the force of the bidet spray. I love that the riser hinges to lift up for cleaning the toilet. It was easy to install and there were no leaks even without using the teflon tape provided. I left the washer in place as it arrived in the T valve and there were no leaks. There was some spraying out the side initially but I had to remind my mother not to move around much while using the bidet. The splash guard works well for a female user. Overall an excellent value and quality especially if you consider buying these three features (riser, grab bars and bidet) separately.

Great seat for knee replacement

Very pleased with this seat. A must have for my knee replacement. Yes, you have to be careful or you might "sprinkle" the floor, but overall, I'm happy with the product.

Sturdy

Apartment we are staying in had the lowest toilets, you think it was for a day care. Being 5’10” it was way to low,this raised it to a comfortable height. Very sturdy,no wobbling,may need another for 2nd bathroom.

Easy to clean

I love that you can lift the whole unit and clean under it! Easy to attach. Whole unit folds up and back, just like lifting the toilet seat lid. Wish I had found this years ago!

An excellent product

We got this Bemis raised toilet seat to replace one I bought last fall for my mother-in-law which because of its design could not be securely fastened to the toilet bowl and wobbled back and forth anytime it was used. The bolts were long and passed through 2 shafts to connect to the toilet tank. I did my research, checked the feedback for this product and looked at its design before I purchased it. The installation took less than 15 minutes and required a lot of turning to fasten the bolts in place which was slow because I had to bend down and look at the underside of the top of the bowl but I persevered. So far, we are happy with the purchase as the seat has not moved. There is a gap between the seat and bowl which will make it easier for cleaning the area between the two. Thank you to Bemis for making such a wonderful product. Don’t waste your money on other raised toilet seats.

Excellent Product!!!

Found this product after extensive research for a safe and comfortable elevated toilet seat. It didn't disappoint. Stylish, safe, sturdy and comfortable describe the appearance and performance of this product which I would recommend without hesitation.

It is not an universal fit for any Elongated Toilet.

The Bemis Raised Seat material is excellent. However, it did not fit my American Standard Elongated Toilet, because the Bemis Installation Snap 2 Secure System "craked" my pristine Toilet. . . therefore.. Diaster. . . Now I have to find 1. a Plumber to remove the Seat and 2. install a New Toilet ! ! Update : Bemis Mftg offered to reimburse the Plumbing Cost of the new toilet plus installation.

The seat is easy to use in my current inability.

I came home from the hospital after surgery to my (L) femur. The seat is perfect to allow me to use my bathroom while I am recovering.
