Wood bone color toilet seat

Matching color is difficult when ordering online. You are likely to pick the wrong one the first time & have to return it yourself to a UPS store, which defeats the whole convenience of shopping online. Yet it is free. Second toilet seat was the correct color but scratched at the top showing black underneath. I would return it but it's been enough of a hassle just to get a new toilet seat.

Bemis 500EC 146 Toilet Seat [Round, Almond]

I purchased two of these Bemis 500EC 146 seats to replace the exact same older seats on both our toilets. I think this is only like the third or fourth set in twenty-one years, so they seem to hold up quite well. These are the traditional round, painted wood seats with the standard two-bolt mount. I'm glad that Bemis has added a small, serrated filler ring at the top of each plastic bolt now, because the older smooth plastic bolts did tend to develop a little wiggle even when tightened down as much as reasonably possible, being mindful that they are attaching to relatively fragile porcelain.

Great Price - High Quality

I needed 2 basic beige toilet seats. I don't want to pay $60 for a toilet seat at Home Depot because I typically replace them every 5-6 months. I took a chance on this 2 pack. They are very sturdy and the connectors don't have the typical plastic flaps that tend to open. These you add the bolts to the toilet, then set the connectors on top of the bolts and twist the connectors to the lock position. The seat feels very sturdy and doesn't move about. Would highly recommend them.

YAY, Wood_No more plastic

We updated (in other words, purchased) new toilets in order to have them taller and use less water. Installed, everything was great and then we used them. When did they start supplying new toilets with plastic toilet seats? Yes, I am no youngster, but it seems there is a lot of older things that were made better then, than they are today. I'll say it, they don't make things like they used to! I'm laughing, but honestly, I prefer wood to plastic. AND, being a little old lady, I could change out the terrible new, cheap feeling plastic seat and easily install my pretty, new and so very comfortable Bemis WOOD seat easily. I was so surprised at how easy it was to install that I thought I did something wrong, but it's great. I like the wood, the finish and the ease of installment ... highly recommend.

Did not like as of recently.

When cleaning it the seat has changed colors. Do not like. I ordered a wood grain from home Depot. Amazon was to high for me. Sorry ????

I have bought several of these lids over the years. They are great. They are heavy duty and fit perfectly on my elongated toilet. I love the way you can remove them so easily to make cleaning the toilet so much faster! I highly recommend this product!

good solid toilet seat

I got this a few days ago and love it. It is solid and sturdy. I thought that it would be hard to fit but did myself with not much effort. One thing is the wing nut on the screw that attaches the seat to the toilet is a little wide, I solved the problem by trimming the nut with nail clippers; this may well be different on other toilets as they could have a slightly different toilet bowl, still managed to get the seat on properly and all is well that ends well

Does not fit and not a soft close

Had to readjust the screws of hinges to fit an UK toilet. And who produces a cover with a soft close. Never again and Amazon should not sell these in UK. Poor information in the advert too.

Pitch of holes.

Intended as replacement for our existing toilet seats. The colour is wrong and the pitch of the holes not correct. They do not fit. Have been returned via ups.

Muy lindo(al principio) con errores en diseño y delicado

El diseño es muy bonito. Sin embargo, el mío tiene una rebaba que lastima a veces al sentarse. Otro problema fueron las tuercas; pero hice lo que recomiendan en los comentarios y las corté para que dieran vuelta - de esa manera fue muy sencillo instalarlo. Actualización: a la semana noté una mancha y me di cuenta de que la pintura se había dañado. Es sumamente delicado y no es práctico para el uso que requiere. Definitivamente no lo volveré a comprar!!!
