The cord could have been 2 ft shorter, option.
Was easy to tie up cord behind TV, but would have been nice with more length options.

I wish it had screws in place of welding
Seeing the screws on the plug I assumed I can take off the plug and thread the cable through some holes. But the wires are welded (not screwed) inside the plug to rings, so I had to make much bigger holes (was a struggle with unsightly result).

Great value!
Let's see how long it lasts.

Great for wall plugs that you need the cord end to go a certain way!
I ordered these so I could actually use the two available plugs in the wall. Works great at any angle.

Fits my needs!
I'd like to start by addressing the issue that users have reported: Fire hazard with heavy load. My solution: Don't put a heavy load on it. Buy a power strip that is heavy duty and will protect your electronics as well as your living quarters more appropriately. If I had a desk power strip with a computer, monitor, printer, speakers, large lamp etc, I would be buying a battery backup anyways, this is not the appropriate strip for that. If I had a desk where I just needed to plug in a TV and my laptop with a lamp and a phone charger, then I would use this. I have two of these now, one on a plug next to a dresser that sits flat against the wall, hence the need for the flat plug. The other is just in a normal spot. The head does rotate 360. It is perfect. No strain on the cord at all. Note here: when rotating the head, either plug it in and rotate it, or grip low on the actual prongs, as you will bend the prongs easily if you do not. Also, rotate slowly, as it is not designed to be twirled around in circles like a top. I have broken one due to improper rotating of the plug itself. There are six plugs that are somewhat close together. I just hang any bricks of the last plug. I have a battery charger plugged in there. The rest I can only have normal plugs in to utilize all six. This doesn't bother me. If you need more spacing due to bricks, then buy a different power strip. The on/off/reset switch is on the end, and in my opinion, in a perfect spot. Other strips have an exposed switch that I can hit relatively easily. This one is tucked in on the end where the cord enters the strip and I don't ever hit it. I love that about this power strip. Well designed. If you have other questions, drop a comment! Hope this helps.

Well made product
I have purchased numerous Belkin products before and own 2 of the rotating power strips. They are sturdy and perform well. Recommended.

A workable Solution
I'm personally not the biggest fan of the Belkin brand overall but when I was buying my HDTV I was informed that the unit did not come with a HDMI cable. The set I bought was one off the sales floor but I had went in with the intention of buying a bigger unit. When I had decided on the smaller unit, the sales person had already wheeled the bigger set out from the back. When I was informed of needing a HDMI cord for the set I did end up buying, I was informed by the sales person about a combo deal for the HDMI cable and this Surge Protector. I felt bad for the guy since he had wheeled out a TV that I didn't end up buying and I went ahead and picked the combo from him more out of pity and less out of necessity. Long winded story aside, I actually decided to switch out my old surge protector for this one and I was pleased with that decision. The cord is sufficiently long enough and I was pleased that I was able to plug it into an outlet that's a little farther away and that this surge protector reached farther than the unit I had replaced. That said, it does the job it's supposed to. The only real knock is the Insignia branding on the box but then I've never cared for the Insignia brand so that's a minor gripe. If you need a decent, reliable surge protector then this one should do you just fine.

Belkin is dependable, and I like that the plug rotated to fit the wall in the position I needed- power button on end, not top.
This works well for my computer. I like that the plug in turns so that it fit the way I needed it to. At first it did not seem like it did turn, but it does - the actual prongs are set into a circle that will rotate with a bit of effort, but that's actually good because once set it will keep it's position unless you purposefully move it again. It has an on/off switch but it is on the end. That's what I needed so the cats would not step on it and turn everything off. It has been working perfectly and I've had no issues at all with it. It comes with surge insurance. I've never had to use it, but I had a friend that lived in an apartment with no homeowners that filed a claim with Belkin - he had to send in a letter and a good bit of various paperwork- some on his computer, and also the strip itself, but they took care of him. I still wish when they made these things they would give more space between the plug ins. Everyone uses these boxy adapters these days and they take up room lengthwise.

Keep an eye on it.
I loved this product up until the moment I unplugged it today. It has been totally fine since my purchase, with it having served it's purpose all around my home. However, I went to move it and discovered that it very nearly could have burnt my house down. A dark caramel coloured spot burned onto the plug and the wall socket, all whilst the device was still working. All that was plugged in was a Roku stick, a small TV, and a game console. I was going to buy another but I'm going to look elsewhere.

Love the design and looks well built but be warned...
Love the look and design for the most part. Wanted something with a flat, 90 degree, low profile plug. Didn't and don't care so much for the rotating plug option which leads to my only negative comment... Apparently Belkin did a recall on older models of this design. Has to do with the rotation feature of the plug. Fixed wires are not used, instead a conductive ring allows for the rotating feature. Some customers have experienced melting plugs and other plug issues due to this feature. Tried to find more information on this but can't seem to get a straight answer on it. Continuing to investigate this issue. Be mindful of this prior to purchasing...

No light indicator, can be defective- one didn't turn on, and the other one sparked!
Bought 2. The first one seemed fine, but the 2nd wouldn't come on unless I toggled the switch back and forth. It doesn't have a light indicator which I thought wouldn't be a problem but ended up being necessary and frustrating without. One of them sparked. I can't remember which is which anymore. Given this is a Belkin product, I trust it was a good product, but this particular item(s) is defective. Which happens with things made in China.

Flat and rotating plug makes it easy to place anywhere!
I purchased a couple of these as we have various electronics that need to be plugged in but the receptacle was too far away. In a couple of spots it was behind furniture so the low profile head was a very important factor in the purchase. The fact that it can swivel made it even easier for placement as you don't have to fight with the cord to bend a certain way. I have not had any issues with the power failing due to the movement of the plug as described by some users. I have had these in use for almost 3 months now without issue. We have also had a few power outages and the electronics were protected. No failed devices due to a surge.

DANGER - Failed AC Power Plug / Connector
After a few years of use, the rotating/slim plug connector has failed and shorted out internally. This is a very dangerous location for a plug to fail had my breaker not tripped to protect the circuit. Overall, when operating I was happy with the product, the slim plug and long cord was exactly what I was looking for however the rotating mechanism does not appear to stand the test of time and is potentially dangerous. Would prefer a unit with a stationary plug.
