Our 3 1/2 year old grand daughter loved these!

Grand daughter loved them and we played hide and seek with them for hours. But, based on size, we closely supervised to make sure they didn't go in her mouth. Also some had burrs on them from mold. but can be filed smooth easily.

Perfect for a pirates booty

I wanted these gold coins to make a pirates treasure chest for Halloween. I used a glue gun to attach them to a gold painted piece of Styrofoam in a staggered pattern and they worked perfectly. They made the chest look as though it was filled with coins and with the addition of some fake gems it was very convincing. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to play pirate.

Good plastic coins

They look pretty neat a beautiful assortment of colors, were perfect for my purpose of giving my daughter an allowance when I never have any cash on hand - she can turn them back into me for things she would like me to purchase for her - I did have to scrape off some sharp pointy bits where they we're broken off of the mold but only on some of them.

Use it as pirate money scavenger hunts with my little sister

Very good for little kids and what I can assume parties. Easy to lose and if you give them too much you will be finding it in your closet or under the bed. However they are not very thick, and I could probably break them with my hands if I tried hard enough.

great for crafting

as you can see from the photo they are very shiny and reflective. The reason I knocked down a star is because three of them that I have found so far had missing paint on the back side. That's not an issue for me since I only needed one side to be shown. They're a durable plastic and I like how the front and the back have two different designs. I bought some colored stones from the Dollar Tree to go with the treasure chest.

Some (or a machine) doesn't know how to count . . .

Ordered 6 of these packages. Advertised both on the description here AND on the bag itself that there are 100 pieces in each bag. Of the 6 packages, 2 had the correct amount. Of the 6 packages, 1 was over by 2 coins Of the 6 packages, 3 were under count (one came in at 87 coins, one at 94 coins, one at 99 coins) I bought this product assuming I'd get what was advertised -- 100 coins. I should have 600 plastic coins when in fact I have only 582. Some people might say, "enh. close enough!" But I bought these for use in my classroom thinking I'd get 600 plastic coins that I could split evenly between 6 lab groups with a procedure that starts off "Place 100 coins in a box..." The coins themselves are exactly what you'd expect. But I'm rather disappointed that if I want to be able to do the lab properly with my students I'll have to buy yet *another* package of coins.
