Good for changing lights in tall ceilings.

I bought it as a replacement to go on the end it my extension pole (replacing one that got broken). Works well for changing lightbulbs on my high ceiling tiles. I often loan it to friends (which is how the last one got broken ????)

Way better than the stupid suction cups

I have a ceiling fan with lights in a vaulted ceiling that would require a very big ladder to reach. I first tried those suction cup light bulb changers. Total junk that did not work at all. This tool worked perfectly, even with the ceiling fan limited entry space and slight movement of the fan assembly. Cheaper and easier than buying a big ladder.

Cheaply made but shockingly does work,

I don't expect this item to last more then 1 use but it had a good price, I forgot to return it in time.

Super easy!

The media could not be loaded. For years I considered an extension pole with light bulb changer at my local store, pricey but considered it. I only have 1 bulb I cannot reach so it was hard to justify the cost. Then I found this and tried it as soon as it was delivered. Bulb changed in mins and now I can see my stairs at night! Highly recommend!

Issue

Works well to remove standard bulbs. However, bulb moves within basket when trying to screw a bulb in. Have yet to put a bulb back into a socket.

PERFECT - LIFE AND LIGHT BULB SAVER

I didn't use a pole with this bulb changer because I needed it to remove and install light bulbs in a 4-light vanity fixture with very narrow bulb covers. My hand barely fit inside the bulb light covers to screw in or unscrew the bulbs. There was no way I could see to remove the covers first, so my only option was to get something to hold onto the bulbs with enough room to screw on and/or off. This worked PERFECTLY...Love it and will never lose it. Thank you.

Works perfect plus tightening screw

I had to get at a 20 ft ceiling and this pulled the bulb out with ease. Some people I see concerned about the plastic being stripped. I suppose it is possible but I don’t see it happening unless you are harsh with the tool. Even if this did possibly happen while not ideal you could easily just put a piece of tape to hold it to the pole. This will only work on regular size bulbs but work it does.

Didn't work for me and very expensive

This product is a good idea but unfortunately it didn't work for me. It is also very expensive - £15 for a piece of plastic and a bit of metal threaded through - you have to either buy a pole separately or spend a further £20 for the matching pole just to change a light bulb that will probably only need replacing every 6 years or so ...! I bought it out of desperation because the lightbulb on my stairs has blown. It did fit to the separate pole I had to purchase but when I reached up to change the bulb, because it just dangles on a piece of flex, all it was doing was bending the flex wire. It will cost me too much more to return the product and I will just have to use a torch on the stairs in the dark for ever more.

Neat little problem solver!

Builder used 5 watt incandescent bulbs in the very high ceiling of our garage. Wanted to replace them with 100 watt equivalent led bulbs but my wife wouldn’t let me climb a ladder with my bad hip. Found this on Amazon and installed it on the extendable pole we use with our window washing squeegee. Had the old bulbs out in no time and the new ones installed without issue. The bulb will start to slip inside of the cage part so you can’t over tighten and break the bulb. Simple and effective.

It doesn't work

Bought to change bayonet fitting energy saver bulbs . In theory it should work but in practice it doesn't. The fitting goes over the bulb onto the fitting but it does not grip it tightly enough to enable you to push the bulb up to disengage the lugs that hold the bulb in place.

Great little tool to have around the house.

Great little tool that help you to change light bulbs that are in the ceiling! This tool works fits the typical standard incandescent lightbulb. I also tried on a florecent light, need to wiggle a little bit but it fits as well. I used this tool to change a light bulb that was in the middle of stair case. That light bulb was dead for more than 10 years and I didn't have chance to change it without a step ladder. Thanks to this product, the bulb change was so easy and quick! All you need is a stick or a pole and you attach this tool! So glad I found this on Amazon as hardware stores near me doesnt carry this or they have low quality knockoff set with outrageous price!
