Great Smell for Him or Her
THIS... is Baxter's Cedarwood and Oak Moss Essence bar of soap (2 pack) and I have fallen in love with it. I don't usually use bar soap, but was recently convinced to try it out and I am glad I did! This bar of soap smells amazing, and while I would say it is generally a male-leaning scent... my fiance uses it before her bodywash because it smells so good, and the cleaning beads work really well. It suds up quite well, but not too much. I find that this bar of soap does congeal up slightly between uses like other high-end bars of soap from water being left on it, so I recommend putting it in a container between washes to keep it from washing away. I thought that this was expensive for a bar of soap, however, it is well worth the extra money and I can tell a difference from my old dove and irish spring bars of soap that I kept around. I really feel that the beads and soap clean and scrub well! Will be returning to buy more for me and my fiance now and am hooked on Baxter soap!

Made the switch from Squatch an haven't looked back!
I can't say enough good stuff about this bar soap from Baxter of California. I have very dry skin and have always had a hard time finding a soap that left my skin feeling moisturized and left me NOT looking like Ashy Larry. I was a very loyal Dr. Squatch user, but was frustrated by how quickly the bars were gone. After seeing how many positive reviews there were for this soap, I decided to give it a try. It's been almost a year since I switched and I am never using another soap. The bars last almost exactly 30 days, so while the price tag seems high, it actually ends up being cheaper than using a $7 bar of Dr. Squatch every week. I am 6' 4" and have a bigger frame, so I would imagine it will last even longer on someone who is of more average size! The smell is masculine and smells like cedar and kind of musky. I get compliments regularly for the scent and my wife enjoys the smell as well. The lather is creamy, and the exfoliating particles are not too abrasive, they are just right. I use this on my entire body and have never experienced any adverse effects. I highly recommend this soap for dudes with dry skin who like to smell good!

Good exfoliant and great smelling
As a woman, I loved this product and men will absolutely love it as well. It’s one of the best exfoliating bar soaps I’ve used. For ladies it may be too harsh to use everyday directly on skin, but it shouldn’t be a problem for guys for daily use. The smell is a masculine one. Very woodsy, with musks and Sandalwood. Smells similar IMO to Creed Viking or Viking Cologne. Lathers extremely well directly on skin or with a washcloth. Because exfoliating soaps can be drying, me personally, I always use with a washcloth in conjunction with a moisturizing body wash. Since I’m always testing men’s skin care products, I lathered my cloth with this soap along with a few squirts/pumps of Dove’s Men +care Cardamom oil and Sandalwood body wash. It was a match made in heaven!!! The fragrance and lather made me want to shower for hours!! The smell of the bar actually lingers on your skin for a little after getting out of the shower but doesn’t interfere with any lotions or fragrances you choose to use afterwards. Very highly recommend for guys and I recommend for women who are willing to step out of the box a bit and try new and different scents.

Great soap
I actually meant to purchase a different soap and found this. Then for some reason I thought it was a pack but turned out to be one bar. I decided to give it a try and it was amazing bar probably one of the best. However, I don’t see myself to spend this much again for 1 bar.

I love the soap!
I grabbed this soap on a prime day deal for $7.95 a bar. I loved the scent and abrasive effect felt really clean after shower. However I refuse to pay $20.00 a bar after tax for another bar. They would sell much more of this soap if they would lower their prices.

Great bar of soap with lovely smell.
Trying to do my bit for the environment by going plastic free, and tried switching from plastic bottle shower gels to bars of soap. Baxter of California is a brand that I have always liked and most of the time I have had good results (though their face scrubs have a habit of making my face a bit blotchy). Purchased their soap bar and it was excellent. Really nice and refreshing scent to it. Large enough bar, but felt it did not last as long as I hoped it would have. All in all really impressed and will be buying this product again.

Might not last long.
Bought this as I wanted to try something new and as i go to the gym everyday a exfoliation bar seemed the way to go. Good points. Smells nice, cleans my skin and leaves it feeling nice and fresh. Lather is good and I'm in a hard water area. Not so good points. After a weeks use I reckon I'm about 1/2way through the bar. The scent is just about there after drying off with a towel but not what I'd expect for a soap costing this much. Would I buy it again? I think i will give it another go.

Smells amazing
Amazing smell. Feels like having your back scratched when you use it. A little expensive compared to other soaps but it does last. I'd buy again for the scent alone

Seems costly, but last for ages!
Took me a while to order this as the cost seemed alot, however, compared to other cheaper soaps, so far this one has lasted about 4 times as long as any other. The smell is awesomely manly and it makes my skin feel so soft and clean after use. I would not hesitate to order again, when my current bar finally runs out, so could be a while!
