Don’t buy normal glue sticks

These are so much better than normal glue sticks- let’s be real, normal glue sticks suck and barely have any strength/sticking power. As a teacher I use them all the time and I am all about the Gorilla Glue glue sticks- soooo much better! I used these on a DIY costume and two years later it continues to hold. I will buy these again and again- far superior.

Be careful they don't fit!

These don't fit a regular glue gun too thin and the gun can't push it through! Worthless!

It's Gorilla. It's not going anywhere...

ONCE IT IS STUCK, IT'S STUCK!!! You literally have about 10-15 seconds to remove it from most things once applied. I use it to build foam core dollhouses, and so far, all of them are 100% still secure and over a couple years old. I first bought it from Walmart but there are a lot better values on Amazon. It's Gorilla... it's not going anywhere. I also have fixed a few pieces of furniture (nothing valuable and mostly just weird stuff) with it and it works better than wood glue as long as you have grooves for it to settle into. Hot glue doesn't dry 'flat,' so keep it in mind.

Not clear, does not over paint well

With all the pumping up this product was given by both the product page, and a youtuber that I will not identify here, this disappointed me greatly. It did not work as well as some of the totally clear sticks I have used, and of course it is not clear, it's cloudy, so if it shows at all the project is trashed. If it had been stronger it might have been worth the issue of making sure it was not seen at all. It also does not hold a coat of acrylic paint well. As a multimedia artists I want that in a glue stick, because we often use glue sticks to create texture as well as hold items together. I don't want to have to do a coat of gesso or something over before the paint coat. Not to mention two of the clear gessos did not stick either. So it was a black or white gesso double coat, and then the paint. Most textures are lost after the second coat of gesso.

Strong adhesion to cardboard

I used these to glue make some cardboard boxes and they have held up after month. I had to take one apart and the glue was very strong (better than the cheap sticks that came with my glue gun). They are more expensive than the generic glue sticks but I need the boxes to last and survive shipping so it was worth it.

Very Strong Bond on High Temp

Used this on high temp setting to repair a piece of wood that arrived damaged, for a new desk. Particle board had a 3 inch section that was coming apart. We filled the piece with this glue, clamped it together for a few minutes and it was good as new. In fact, it looks and feels stronger with the glue holding it together. Gorilla glue sticks saved the day. This glue will come in handy for many projects around the house and office.

You must work fast, the glue dries quickly

I used these glue sticks to glue gun cane webbing onto glass. These are the best glue sticks you will ever use. I highly recommend them for any project that requires the use of a glue gun!

Gorilla glue

4 stars for the Girilla glue due the smaller diameter of this sticks, my smallest glue gun needed a couple mm bigger diameter of glue sticks than received Gorilla glue sticks.

Gorilla Glue Sticks..the best

Great glue sticks. I find these glue sticks hold better than other brands plus the extra brands of having the extra time to work with it. ( the 40 seconds until it dries).Made this fairy house using Gorrilla Glue Sticks????????
