This item is a good starter bar but lacks a bit for heavy use. The eye hooks on the ends are threaded into the bar and strip easily. The pins remove pretty easily and cannot be used as a mounting point.

It is adjustable, and so far it does the job, however it feels flimsy when put together, the end bolts are way too large, and bolts in the middle have no way to secure them beyond simple ball bearings (so if enough force applied, they will pull out).

Will need to get new hardware
Not that happy with this spreader bar. The pins that hold it in place pull out too easily. I'll have to come up with different hardware to secure the pieces together.

Bar is sturdy, adjusting pins aren't
As written in other reviews, the pins that are used to adjust the length of the spreader are cheap and one of mine broke the first time I adjusted it. But I expected this to happen and had zip ties to use instead. Even if the pin worked, they can easily come out and then the bar falls apart and you don't want that to kill the mood!! The bar itself and the eye loops at the end are strong and sturdy. Using the zip ties instead of the adjustable pins works great as long as you don't intend on adjusting the length of the bar often.

Good Spreader
It is a good bar for the price and adjustable. I changed out the push pins for a couple of 3/16" by 2" long eye bolts. I left the nuts on the eye bolts as high up as I could and used wing nuts for ease of use on the bottom of them. This way you can also use the adjusting bolts as points to hook your partners wrists to and they cannot get away!

Don't bother attaching wrists...
The pins which keep the bar together at the right length are easily removed. Which would be great except if you have plans to attach wrist restraints to those pins. If you do, you'll inevitable break free and the bar will fall apart. I bought this model especially to be able to attach wrists, so I was totally disappointed. Otherwise, it's decently made. I like how heavy it is, and that I can attach my own cuffs as opposed to built in ones.
