New Barbie Dream Boat

The boat arrived in good condition. Things to Know 1. The boat itself measures 22 inches by 12 inches. On the box it says it's 3 ft by 12 inches. I assume that's the measurements of the boat with the slide coming off the back . 2. I was able to fit about 8 fashion sized dolls barbie, Disney, Ily, monster high in the boat. 3. It says on the box that the main boat and the top portion does not float in water. The pool and slide portion is for water play. 4. The slide can hook onto the side of the boat for storage. 5. The top portion, paddle boat can come off and the back support can flip down for easy access to the interior seating area. The TV is in a weird place. Thankfully it can be removed if it's in the way. 6. The boat cannot be carried by the roof of the boat. It's meant to gently click into place so it's easily removable. Thoughts - I like it! More Barbies can fit than I had anticipated. I think there's a lot of play value and versatility with this boat when compared with similar vehicles. I wish the bottom of the boat wasn't neon pink but it goes with the newer houses and playsets. It's nice to see something different. It would have been great if they had implemented some kind of storage on the bottom of the boat because there is plenty of room. I wish it was a little bigger. It gets the job done for sure but who doesn't want their dreamboat over the top???

Boat party!!

My daughter is having the joy and pleasure of being able to play with Barbie boat. It's roomy enough to fit 6-8 dolls comfortably, but I was kind of expecting it to be bigger. However, I like that it offers versatility. For example, the kitchen stove flips up to reveal a bathroom sink and mirror. The TV can swing in and out. The couch bed lifts up to reveal steps that lead to the front deck. The top deck and slide can be removed to switch up the look of the boat. Some fun accessories were included, like a table, drinks, plates, forks, boom box, flippers, tanning lotion, video recorder, dog, dog bowl, pan, shower head, dolphin, pool and slide. For the price point, it would have been nice if it had made sounds. Regardless, my daughter seems to be having a blast with it. She has asked to put it in the pool this summer, but I do not believe it was meant to float. Truthfully, I can see some things that would have made this boat a lot better, but for the time being, it is providing good imaginative play for my daughter.

Barbie boat with slide and pool

This comes with a decent size barbie boat with the removable platform top, slide, pool and tons of accessories. My 4 year old really wanted a barbie house or toy with a slide and this fit the bill. She loves the slide in real life and loves sending her barbies down this slide. This is big enough to fit a few barbies in here without it taking up our whole bedroom too. My 4 year old gets frustrated with the slide and top coming off the boat frame but aside from that they really like this barbie boat.

Bigger than it looks

I kind of thought this would be smaller, due to the photos making it seem like it's smaller. But I was happy to find it was bigger than it looks. No complaints. Perfect for any Barbie fans. My 5 and 8 year olds love it

this thing is massive!!

the minute i saw this i had to order it for my daughter. i knew it was gonna be a good size but oh my gosh this thing is huge!! it’s super cool. it comes with accessories and the front of the boat can turn into a pool or just the deck if you flip it over. the slide comes off and can be stored on the hooks on the side of the boat. the bed folds up revealing more seating. the tv doubles as a bar area. the kitchen doubles as a bathroom. it’s literally so awesome and my daughter went crazy when she saw it.

This is a must have toy for any Barbie fan

So my daughter has a Barbie Dreamhouse, a Barbie camper, and now a Barbie Boat playset. When will it end? She absolutely loves Barbie and plays with her dolls all the time. This "Dream" boat, is just what she needed to spice up her Barbie life. It's a little on the expensive side but my daughter likes the design and thinks it's cool that it can turn into a slide. Set up takes 5 minutes, mostly because you have to spend time attaching stickers to the toy. It's relatively painless and you'll be up and running in no time. Overall I highly recommend the toy for anyone who loves Barbie!
