Strong

Even though the screws are slim, they are strong and hold up well. I haven’t had a single one strip. They are also thin enough to fit on the wholes of most brackets. I have been using them on several projects from securing fence panels to posts, to repairing the chicken coop. I am well pleased with the results. Definitely would buy them again

A screw that will mostly do....for certain applications.

This is a lighter weight screw than you would expect of a normal deck screw, but they seem strong enough for plank over joist. I wouldn't use them for anything with sheer, though. The bigggest drawback is the length of the threaded portion of the screw to shank size. There are far fewer threads than a standard screw. This means less hold and less long-term strength. It also means the flexibilty of these screws is far more limited. You need to ensure the materials you are going into have the proper depth, otherwise it will not hold and you won't be able to easily remove them. If they fixed this issue I would recommend these screws to others, but because of the limited thread size I just cannot for most uses. These are screws meant for a very limited application, if that application meets your use scenario then go for it, but if you are buying these to have on hand for general use I would buy something with better threads, and maybe a thicker shank.
