Bend in bar

Purchased 7’ 1” bar. Noticeable bend after deadlifting with 340 lbs on the bar and squatting with 240 lbs on the bar. The bar is a little whippy with that amount of weight. I don’t see how it’s possible this is rated at 700 lbs. The bend doesn’t bother me and I know I will never come close to 700 lbs so overall I’m happy with the product.

Nice bar, definitely not an inch. 4 stars for being under an 1"

I received this bar on time from Spreetail. The bar is in perfect condition. Good chrome, good knurling. I'm going to use it to attach workout bands. The bars sold for workout bands are hollow and sometimes 2 or 3 piece. This bar is solid. The bar measures(where the weights would go) .938" to .943" or 23.82mm to 23.95mm. Thinner at the very end and thickens towards the center. So the bar is about 15/16". Measured with a Starrett 6" digital caliper. I bought 2 climax 1" bore shaft collars. The shaft collars have 5/16-24 set screws. I bought 5/16-24 lifting eye bolts to replace the set screws, hold the collar on and attach the band carabiner to. I bought some .031 shim stock to go under the collar to tighten it up. This bar is perfect for my needs.

Great Product for the price, shipping was slow

Took about a month longer than the expected shipping/delivery dates, however I couldn't be more happy with the product. Fantastic quality for the price. Nothing was missing from my order, and everything was the correct style that I ordered. After reading some of the customer questions for this product, I was a bit worried i would have to cancel the order and purchase something else. I decided to just wait it out and am happy that I did! I just wish they were more realistic with their expected shipping and delivery dates.

Top quality, best price. Enough said.

This bar is perfect. BEST PRICE I could find, anywhere. Plus, I wanted a 5 foot bar, for easy use in my home gym (also called the second bedroom when we have guests), and this works great. Same top quality bar, same standard grip width as 6 foot bar, but easier width in house for maneuvering and storing. I read reviews of OTHER COMPANIES that supplied equipment where the paint chipped or were poor quality, so I was ready to give this review, one way or the other. Turns out this is the quality equipment, best price, delivered as advertised. It's what we are all looking for, every time we shop online.

Poor customer service

I ordered a 280-lb weight set. They sent me the wrong color/style and they sent me two 25-lb plates with 1" center hole when they were advertised as and others having a 2" center hole. The manufacturer gave me the run around and told me to go through Amazon and Amazon makes it nearly impossible to "partially" replace the set, you would have to send all of them back. I was able to negotiate a partial refund so I have to separately buy the corrected plates, but I see others have the same problem with missing weights.

Good product

Arrived on time. Package was intact, better than other smaller items I’ve ordered through Amazon which was a surprise. Fit my weights perfectly. I am a petite 5’2 woman so the bar was just right. The only thing I didn’t like was how oily the bar was rite out of the package and had to wipe it down multiple times, but that’s just a minor detail. I purchased the 1’ and there is very little wiggle room if the plate is a tad bit larger or smaller. Overall I am happy with this product.

Exceeded Expectation

I bought the 1 inch 5 ft bar, for some of my HITT program in small quarters.. This bar came packaged in two boxes, and has a plastic sleeve in the tube the bar is in. The plastic sleeve is lathered in oil. So beware when opening. Grab a rag to wipe it down. The bar is solid, definitely a Olympic bar feel in a compact punch :) This exceeded my expectations. I highly recommened this bar and buying 1inch collars for a snug fit to this bar.
