Love It So Far
I had been looking for a replacement for my old Philips Rotary Shaver. After seeing ridiculous prices ($300.00 & up) for the best-rated shavers that came with their own silly "washing machines," I thought I would just stick with the much-cheaper razors. Then I read some reviews from professional barbers & saw top-rated electric razors that were reasonably priced. I chose the Babyliss Pro FX3 model. When it arrived today, I wasn't about to wait for charging to try it. Besides, all the charging indicators were already lit. I just started shaving. What a pleasant surprise! Wherever those foils touched, the hair just disappeared. After using both single-blade & multi-blade razors, I can honestly say this shaver is as close as a blade - and in some difficult areas like my chin, it's even better than a razor. And, it's one third the cost.

Amazing
I tried several different shavers, couldn’t find anything that I liked mechanically, physically, and cosmetically. This is solid, it’s sturdy, it’s not gonn wear and scratched like my silver did the first time I used it …. I’m not planning on, but I feel if it fell, it would be safe and not break. It’s very strong and effective. The battery seems to be good. And it’s quiet!!!

Wow!
Man, this thing cuts like a champ! So glad I got it. Takes a few days to get the hang of it but trust me when I say that you’ll love it. Only slight criticism would be that the outer she’ll sometimes seems a little slippery. Could do with a grippy surface.

Good
It’s a good machine, but compared to their heavier counterparts the FX02 I feel as though these are a little weaker. Definitely easier on the wrist, but I’d have to say it got dull much quicker than my silver foil shaver usually does. The battery life is unmatched though, and it’s an overall great machine.

No pain daily shave
I have sensitive skin and have been shaving with razor and lather for years. Daily shaves have always been painful. Much to the chagrin of my wife, I have resorted to shaving every three days to minimize discomfort. We getting ready to go on a long trip so I decided to see if I could find an electric shaver to replace my inadequate Braun 8985 which I have never been satisfied with. I decided to give this a try. After 10 days I can say I love it. It does not give as close a shave as my razor on 3 day beard, it equals the closeness of a daily razor shave. Both my wife and I are sold on this. I highly recommend it.
