Works perfect.
I used this to put over multiple holes a former owner made in the transom. Worked like a charm. I had zero water in the boat after 4 hours.

Not ideal for modern transducers/Live Scope/Side scanners
If you're planning on mounting a more modern, sidescan/live scope or 3D scan type of transducer, this transducer mounting plate is not bulky or solid enough. The mounting plate itself is roughly 1/2 inch thick, most transducer mounting screws these days are 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Modern transducers are heavy, upwards of 2-3 lbs. In no way should you mount a modern transducer with screws smaller than what came with the transducer, or it may pull straight out of the mounting block while your boat is on or above plane at higher speeds. The other drawback is whatever material this mounting block is made from, screws don't grip very well because the material melts and flexes around the screw threads. I'm 100% in favor of using mounting blocks for transducers for a few reasons - they can reduce the number of holes you put into your transom for mounting a transducer, they provide extra surface area for screws to grip, and they provide a cleaner look to your install. Ideally these mounting plates should be at least twice as thick. If you buy this transducer block for mounting a larger transducer (like I did), you can STILL use the mounting block but you'll end up having to thread your screws into the transom anyway. The advantage is that the transom block will add some extra "rigidity" to your installation. Always use marine silicone or sealant around where the screws are mounted, and use sealant on the screw threads as well to maintain a waterproof transom. Use a drill bit smaller than the diameter of your screw to make pilot holes before threading in the screws that came with the transducer, and use marine grade sealant on them as you will be going through the block and into your transom. I found that when pilot holes were drilled first into the mounting block, the transducer screws gripped a lot better. Overall this product is rather useless because it's not thick or solid enough for mounting modern transducers.

Clean looking
It may be an offset color and came a tad curved, but I’m pleased with the way it turned out.

This works could be a tad thicker!
I used this to mount a Gamin ducer to my sailboat. Works as intended. I did notice it's slightly thinner than the mentioned 0.8 thickness. I added 4 stainless steel washer to my transducer screws so it wouldn't go past the saver and touch the boat or you could get shorter screws instead of using the ones that come with Garmin. I feel a little thicknesses to the item would have given it 5 stars!

Great for Mounting Depth Finder Sensors on Transom
Adhered to boat transom with 3M adhesive to avoid drilling holes. Mounted Garmin Depth Finder sensor without issues." A little expensive for what it is, but better that putting holes in my Sea Ray.

Excellent product
I purchased this for my boat to attach a transducer without having to drill holes in the boat. I used marine goop to attach this to my transom and didn't even need to use the screws provided. Perfect for my application and a great price compared to other similar products on the market.

Easy Install
Not much to say really. Doing exactly what I bought it for. Easy to install and does the job. Fast shipping for a remote destination. No complaints whatsoever.

Good and reasonably priced product
I didn’t use the provided screws. I used Scotch mounting tape. This worked very well!

Works great
Bought a new sonar, remove old transducer, mounted this plate and then put the old and new transducers on it. No problems, on there solid. Make sure you use the proper silicon.
