Worth the money even with all the rust and appearing used!
I just received this Cap straight revolving bar recently and I'm fairly satisfied because of the low cost of it only being $16+ approximately before tax & $18+ after tax even though it does have a lot of rust in the middle under the hangar that spins like a lot of other people are saying and I put plenty of WD-40 and 3-in-1 oil in there and it spins better now and fairly well, not great because of the rust which continually runs out with the oil that I put in there that I keep wiping off but it spins good enough to function and the knurling on this bar is really aggressive so some people definitely might think it's too rough for sure if you don't wear gloves when you work out with it or if you don't put tape over the gripping because of the aggressive knurling and the rubber end caps as long as you keep them tight also, maybe use some loctite thread locker if you have to on the threads on each end under the balls so your hands won't slip easily at all which is a good thing having good grip but I'm going to have to remove 1 star because of the excess amount of rust in the middle and because it doesn't really look new like it was returned possibly or maybe was sitting in a warehouse for a long time I'm removing 1 more star so I'll give this bar 3 stars out of 5 for the product itself but realizing how affordable it is or was for me at the time anyways because of the price I'll increase it up 1 star for the affordability up to 4 stars total, I wanted the Champion brand of this bar that looks basically the same but it never seems to get back in stock so I bought this Cap one instead but I'm sure that one most likely would have been of higher quality most likely and it was only like $3-4 more expensive the last time I saw it in here but even with my complaints I think this bar is worth the money because of the low cost compared to most other revolving bars from other brands usually that are just overpriced in my opinion here on Amazon for the most part and this is the 3rd revolving straight bar that I have now, if you look at my pictures the first one that I bought that doesn't have any rubber grips or round knobs on the ends is from Yes4all and that bar is great and came appearing to be brand new with no defects at all really but it has less grip than the other 2 from Cap because this one that I just received lately with the rubber knobs on the ends has much more grip but much rougher knurling that you might only be able to use comfortably honestly with gloves on because the knurling is so incredibly rough but it doesn't appear as new at all either but might be too rough for some people undoubtedly and the other one that has a lot of rubber gripping from Cap also is pretty awesome as well and may be the best one overall if you like to hold the rubber gripping compared to the metal knurling with your bare hands but these are basically the 3 styles of revolving straight bars to use on a pulley machine that I've seen anyways which I'm a big fan of hence why I've bought all 3 so the one with no rubber gripping from Yes4all came in looking the most new but has the weakest grip because of the unaggressive knurling, the one I received lately has extremely aggressive knurling on the metal with the rubber end caps so your hands won't slip off very easily at all as long as the end caps or balls don't come off and the one that I bought before with a lot of rubber gripping has pretty good grip but at the same time isn't overly aggressive like this bar that I received recently and you'll be holding the rubber instead of the metal with that bar so the grip isn't rough at all just for people interested in these various slightly different revolving bars that might not know which 1 of the 3 basic versions they might want to buy and so far I've only tried doing curls from the low pulley and tricep extensions from the high pulley with this new bar that I just got and the bar appears to be sturdy and made well so I definitely recommend this bar but I can't give it 5 stars just because of the excess amount of rust and appearing old or returned but it's still worth the money in my opinion easily because of the low cost but if you want 1 of these bars and you like to hold the metal but don't want very aggressive knurling get the one with no rubber on it but if you want one of these bars with aggressive knurling and rubber end caps to help prevent your hands from slipping off then buy this bar but if you want to have a good grip on your bar but don't want the metal to dig into your hands and you don't want the bar to ever possibly slip out of your hands then get the bar with the most rubber gripping but I'm a fan of all of them personally and they're all worth the money if you can pick them up for around $25 or less total for each one in my opinion.

Works wonderfully!
I’ve had this attachment for almost a whole year now and it’s not fraying, the rubber pieces at the rope ends are still intact, and it’s held up wonderfully. I use it a good 4-5x a week while exercising using my cable machine with weight in excess of 150 lbs without issue. I would absolutely buy this again. For reference, this attachment has been in my garage this whole time in cold and hot weather alike with no sign of wear.

OK especially for the price!
I just got this Cap revolving or rotating curl bar today from Amazon and so far I'm pretty happy with it, it's not in perfect shape because there are some nicks or scratches on the Chrome a little bit and in the middle around the revolving hangar there's always some imperfections but it rotates pretty good and I added some WD-40 and 3-in-1 oil both with a couple of sprays and a few drops each in the little hole area as well as in the small gaps between where the metal spins and where it doesn't and I spun it around about 10 times quick and wiped the excess off and it spins freely after that, this Cap bar doesn't really have any rust on it like others have complained and like my other straight rotating Cap bar had on it when I received it which is good and the rubber ball end caps were pretty loose but I just tightened them and in the future I might order and put on some blue or red Loctite threadlocker but I don't have that as of yet, the knurling on this bar seems really good, not too rough but not slippery either but I do wish on the close-grip part that the knurling went farther and maybe a couple more inches closer towards the middle because if you grip the bar with the narrow grip basically only half of your hand or less than that is on the knurling part and the other half is on the smooth Chrome part so maybe only maybe two of your fingers will be on the knurling part there if you're lucky so that's a little irritating and strange so I do think this bar would be better if they just extended the knurling about 2 inches on each side closer towards the center plus if you grip it on the outside grip beyond the bend and do curls with it with your hands close to the bend the bar wants to twist on you because of the angle of it which is strange but if you just move your hands out maybe an inch or two closer to the rubber end caps it doesn't want to twist on you really then anymore, I think because of how the leverage is and with your hands being away a little bit more, farther and off-center from the middle pivot balance point of the bar it doesnt want to do it then really but with the really low price of this bar because I only paid $22+ for it before tax and $24+ for it after-tax compared to other bars that are about 3x more if not 5-7x more this is a good value for the money if you can pick it up whenever it's actually available but I haven't tried other more expensive bars like this that are from either like Ivanko, Power Systems, Fitness Maniac or others to compare this one to those bars but those are quite a bit more expensive but for the price I definitely think this bar is pretty good for the money and essential if you have a pulley cable machine. UPDATE: This bar really isn't essential like I thought because it's not really made right, now after I've used it several times and I've done at least 7 different exercises with it I can better explain how its faulty and people still might want it but I think another bar that has the angles more correct, with better knurling and that's made better would be a better purchase even if they're more expensive because this bar is made for doing curls right? In the close-grip there's 3 problems with it for doing curls and the first problem is that it's too close to really feel comfortable and the second problem is that the knurling doesn't even cover half of your hand and the third problem is that it's barely curved at all so it's almost like a straight bar on the close-grip so it still hurts my wrist just like a straight revolving bar does so the close grip really doesn't work that great like I hoped and expected for to do curls and the wider grip if you try to grip it on the closer part of the wider grip that feels the best as far as how far your hands are apart the bar wants to spin on you like I explained originally above because the angles aren't really made right so then if you move your hands out a couple more inches which is the best way to grip this bar it actually does work and the bar doesn't want to spin on you but your hands are a little bit too wide then and not that comfortable or not as comfortable as what you would expect from a bar that is supposed to be made precisely for doing curls so the bar does work and it's affordable in it's price but I think other bars that have the angles made more correctly with either more knurling or maybe the rubber grips in the right spots right where your hands go would probably be better but then again they're a lot more expensive also in comparison so I'm going to give this bar just 3 stars out of 5 instead of 4 because the angles just aren't really made right for a "Curl Bar" and the knurling isn't as complete as what it should be either.

TOUGH bar with great knurling
Great width on this bar for wide pulldowns and knurling to keep your grip. The bar has quite a bit of weight to it itself, so adjust your lift accordingly (probably weights 8-10 lbs). No complaints at all, quality piece.

perfect for my home gym
Not much to say about this beyond it's exactly as described. It's a lat bar. Feels heavy/well made in your hands. The knurling is flawless. Looks sleek with the black finish and I'm outfitting my home gym with mostly black attachments for that reason. The gym is set up in our airbnb so looks in this case do matter. I'm 6'2" and it fits my body perfectly so perhaps for smaller people it could be large? But kind of doubt it. It's the same size as every lat bar I've seen in the gyms and I suspect if you are so small it won't work for you you're specifically shopping for that purpose and know this already. Awesome value for the price.

Bit crooked
This is one of my favorite seated row attachments. Narrow grip attachments don't widen your back or hit/ target your back enough so I do like this one. However, it is made slightly bent or crooked. This will fit the bill , but it isn't quite gym quality . I wonder if I could get a welder to heat this up and bend it a wee bit to syraughten it out.
