Quality bag, don’t over tighten exterior straps
The bag is a good value. The exterior strap buckles that hold everything tight will break if you over tighten them. Get them snug, don’t try and crank them down. I’m using two other straps around the outside of the bag and I feel like it will work for many trips. If you are going to carry to sets of skis, remember, there are no wheels. It’s going to be heavy. Overall, good product

You would think that this would be easy...
This seemed like a good bag. Sturdy canvas, about the only one that zips to expand at each end to accommodate my 195cm skis, and fits my wife's skis as well. There is a padded divider between the skis, but the internal straps don't seem to be designed right. They don't seem to lock together properly to secure the skis. But that is a small thing. The external clasp broke after one round trip use. I packed my skis, took then to Utah and back. When I unhooked one of the two external straps which secure the skis at the top and bottom on the outside, one of the plastic clasps broke. Two uses and it broke! UNFORTUNATELY, the strap for the broken part is permanently sewed and attached to the bag. It is the other (non-broken) part of the clasp that has the adjustable strap. My $70 bag is now defective and not fixable. I am very disappointed that a 10 cent piece leave my skis unsecure and vulnerable to damage. I guess I will have to tie a piece of rope around it ever time to keep the skis protected. This is really too bad.

Do not buy if you have long skis....
I ordered this double bag for my wife and I to replace a 20 year old bag because it says expandable to 200cm. Well, the ends do expand the length, but the zipper does not go all the way to either of the expanded ends (An opening of about 180 cm). Thus my 190 backcountry skis do not fit. Can you say, "Design flaw?". Athalon / Amazon should change the description to - "This bag is useless because it expands but you can't use the extra length". I gave the bag 2 stars because the bag has a ton of padding and seems to be well built, and will work great for my wife's skis.

This product looked great coming out of the packaging. The zipper system is however very weak for a ski bag and the amount of stress. I would stay away from this bag. After getting it packed and ready for the airport. Now in a precarious situation wondering if my things will arrive in tact.

Flawed
I bought this bag to accommodate a pair of 200's. The bag is nice with one exception. The zipper is only 175cm in lenght which makes it nearly impossible for a pair of 200's to go in it. A zipper on one end would correct this.

Good quality bag with plenty of room!
This is a good quality bag for its price. It has plenty of room to fit my 190 cm cross-country skis and poles. I can also put my boots and clothes with lots of room to spare. The bag expands at both ends, making it perfect for different sized skis (I had to unzip both ends to fit my skis). I haven't tried adding a second pair of skis with poles, but I'm sure there would enough room for an extra pair of boots as well. There are straps inside, at the top and bottom, to secure the skis and poles, although the strapping remains a bit loose even when tightened to the max. The two straps outside the bag also help secure the bag's contents. The padding inside is perfect for my use (bag will travel by car), but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for air travel. All in all, this is a great ski bag.

Excellent double bag
Not sure why I waited so long to get a double bag - I bought this for my wife's and son's skis and poles. When extended there's room for boots too, so we really pack it full.The padding is fairly thick and protective, but the padded divider in the middle seems to get in the way a bit - you need to pack it slowly and carefully for it to work properly. Great product overall - would definitely buy another.

Nice Bag!
really nice bag at this price point! Wish it had a shoulder strap though. Will fit 2 sets sets of skis plus accessories (not boots though). Lots of padding.
