Great price great tool

I use these a lot for work and compare to snap on and other company I haven’t broken one yet compared to the one my associates use and broke . Love these drill bits

Best bits I have ever used.

I know these are not the top name in this style of bits but these are half the price also and by far are the best bits I have ever used. I have drilled sheet metal and through 1/2" mild steel without a pilot holes in multiple bit sizes. Yes, no pilot hole using the 1/2" bit through 1/2" steel and no walkout on the hole.

High quality drill bits!

I purchased this 29pc set to avoid spending $370 on the set from a tool dealer. I paid $168 in January 2023. There aren't many hyper-step design drill bits around. So far, so good. The only down fall I can imagine there is with these bits is that once you dull/chip or break the cutting edge there is no way to sharpen them on a grinder and maintain the hyper-step tip. You must replace the bit. Despite that fact I belive they are superior than the Irwin Turbo bits I am retiring.

These solve most issues with drilling metal

I've used the heck out of them since receiving my set and I'm blown away. They solve some of my biggest issues with drilling holes. They seem to significantly reduce the burr on the back side of a hole, they all but eliminate pilot drilling (though you can still drill a pilot hole if you choose to), when enlarging an existing hole, they don't inadvertently grab too much material and mangle the hole (or bind up the drill), and perhaps most importantly, they actually make round holes. I try to use a drill press whenever possible to keep the drill bit centered and make round holes but I swear I get 3-lobed holes even in the drill press under some circumstances using traditional twist drills.

Great Quality and Price

So far so good with these drill bits. I have used them a couple of times since purchasing them. They cut through metal very well and the holes are perfect. The bits don't walk and are holding up strong. Waayyy better than the old craftsman ones I was using that constantly broke or wouldn't cut through correctly.

Awesome drill bits

These are simply the best drill bits that I’ve used to drill though metal. I used one to drill through a broken bolt and it made easy work out of something that is normally a giant pain.I highly recommend these.

I am a pro wrench and have many Astro tools. I have used similar bits in the past with good results. Getting them from the OEM direct if even better for me. Also check out their NANO sockets, game changer!

Same drill bits as the matco step bits

As an experienced technician I g2 say this! Buy them! These are the same drill bits that matco has under hyper drills bits. Matco had rights to these for while but now they don’t so astro is selling them under their name. Get these at a lower price when their the same ones!
