Cat and Cat Daddy Approved!

Bought this as the "yes" for the "no" of the wooden cabinet it's next to in image. No more scratching on the wood at all! Armarkat is the only tree brand I buy: High Quality. And Cat Daddy Approved!- I had no clue. 2 notes - like all trees, I had to put a 25# weight on the bottom to keep my 10# cat from felling it. Still wiggles against one wall.(they recommend 2 walls) 2- the 2 hanging toys, which are 'fake toys'. The white ball, with every purchase has held up to kitty's claws, but the brown one immediately tears open exposing the cotton ball and becomes trash. I'd advise supervision with this toy always. I only keep it because kitty loves to catch the fluffy ball with is paws and 'floss his teeth' with the elastic string. All tools came with. Easy to put together. B4 I had it all together kitty was already scratching the high quality new sisal rope and then immediately sat atop it for the first week strait!

Hours of fun were had with that thing

This cat tree was amazingly affordable, and I don't for a second regret buying it. My cat (a kitten at the time of purchase) immediately climbed all over it and ADORED the little ball you can attach to the top. Hours of fun were had with that thing. After a week or two she totally ripped it off, but the ball is still endless fun just as a toy with string still attached to it. :P The tree itself is perfectly window-ledge-height, so my cat sits happily on it to look out the window rather than trying to perch precariously on our narrow ledge. She has literally never gone inside the box (disappointing for me) but this tree is still worth its weight in gold for its super thick, coarse rope scratching posts. My cat LOVES tearing the crap out of those things! And today (two years after buying it) they're still holding up amazingly well. The only reason I give this cat tree 4 stars is that from the very beginning when my cat was a kitten, it's been "wobbly" when shejumps on or off of it. That said, it amazingly has never actually fallen down! Even now as a fully-grown cat weighing a little over 7 pounds, the thing has never fallen over. That said, if your cat is heavier, I think it's entirely possible it could tip over. All in all, super happy with this purchase.

Bit Wobbly, but cats LOVE it

The stand is a bit wobbly, actually, it is pretty wobbly, but that hasn't stopped the cats from using it. I set up the tree and my cat (who, ironically, has no claws) used the scratching post all of the time. She had no interest in any other part of it. I gave the tree to my sister as a gift and her two cats love it. They immediately chewed off the balls. Her girl cat is obsessed with sleeping in the box and hardly comes out. The boy cat likes to sit on top, play with the balls and use the scratching post. They both LOVE the tree. I think it is completely cat-dependent on whether they will use it or not. However, like I said, my cat had no interest, my sisters cats are obsessed. So, if you have cats that are inclined to use these 'trees' then I would absolutely recommend this one. The structure is good, the material is soft, the whole thing is easy to put together, it's the right size and color to blend into your home w/out consuming the whole room. I think it is best to introduce kittens or very young cats to these trees to garner interest. My sister's cats are 1 my cat is 12. My cat is 9 pounds and size was not a problem. My sister's cats are bigger and longer, probably also around 10 pounds and the tree fits them perfectly.

Great tower.

I bought this to have a small tower for my cats while temporarily living at my parents home. Amarkat makes the best towers that are sturdy and large enough for my husky boys. This is a nice small 'tree' that gets the up enough to peek out the window and relax in the sun. Thanks!

Inexpensive Cat Tower

We have a multiple cat household here and the kitties love this thing. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because it's pretty unstable. If you put this up against a wall or attatch it to the wall I'm sure it would be a heck of a lot more stable. Or attach a better base to it. We saved money by buying this vs. Other oober expensive cat towers....So, the kitties are happy with it. It will work til I want to spend over 100$ for a tree with multiple levels. I did pay less than 51$ for mine though. This gives them a lot of play time and entertainment. So...Overall I say why not. Just be aware that if you have a cat bum rush it and jump to the top like mine did it may fall over. Kitties approve of it. And if their not happy nobody is happy. Great for a cheaper tower. :)

I like this tree very much

I like this tree very much! It has nice fabric and you can feel the quality, but if your cat likes to jump quickly, then this tree is not for you. My cat fell off of it very quickly after just attempting to go on it. Gave it to my brother for his cats and it works better for him because they are calmer. If your looking for a tree for a cat that likes to lounge, this is for them! If you have an energetic cat like mine; might want to look at another Armarkat product :)

My cats love it!

This is such a great product for the price! I got it for my cats for Christmas. I have two cats that are about a year old and they are always using it. They use the scratching post, hide in the cubby, perch on top, and play with the toy dangling from the top perch. Not a day goes by without them using it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the base is the same size as the top, so it topples over fairly easily. I still love it and would recommend it to other cat owners that can't afford to spend $100+ on something like it.

great cat tree for the price!

We bought this cat tree specifically for our female cat, who is very playful and loves climbing and scratching. As soon as I received it and put it together, she was ALL OVER it! It is incredibly soft. And it is very easy to assemble. Took me less than 20 minutes. I would definitely purchase again, and recommend it to friends! The only downfall is that it does seem slightly unsturdy...if my cat were hefty, I would have had to go with a larger size or maybe weigh the base down with something heavy. Lucky for us, she is light as a feather! Plus, when pushed up against a wall, the "unsturdy" factor doesn't seem to matter much at all.

Cool cat tree

Easy to assemble. Top level is approx same size as middle so cats can’t jump from mid level to the top one. That is weird. Otherwise great little tree

worthless!!! It falls over when the cat is jumping on it. The base is much too small, bad design.
