Acceptable compromise

These provide about one hour of waterproofing in snow and rain outdoors. These are also warm even after they allow water to soak through during long periods outdoors. Next winter, I plan to shop early for a truly waterproof pair of ski pants that can remain watertight all day outdoors. But these are acceptable for the remaining few weeks of this winter. I am using these as an outer layer for bicycle rides in freezing snow and freezing rain conditions. I made some modifications to use these for bicycling. For example, I chose an inseam longer than normal so these would go down to the middle of my bicycling shoes, and I use velcro reflector straps to cinch these to my ankles just below the top of the waterproof coverings I put over my bicycle shoes. It would be nice if these pants had a velcro strap at the ankle to tighten themselves on normal shoes when a person is not wearing ski boots.

Make sure you order the correct size.

It was my own fault, but I ordered the wrong size snow pants. I wish the snow pants came with a belt so I could fit them around my "ample" waistline."

Good luck keeping them on

These pants will keep you dry if you can keep them up. The drawstring is useless and there are no belt loops. I would return these if I could.

Quality item but sizing is a little off.

This will definitely keep you warm and dry, no problem there. Quality material and well made. I bought size medium and found the legs to be too long for my 30" inseam. The fit at the waist is a little large for my normal 32 " pants. I'm keeping this pair, a small pair might be a better fit at the inseam but not the waist.

Draw string does not work

The pants are warm and comfortable. The draw cord does not work and unable to tighten waist.

Nice quality waterproof pant

Very nice! They look kind of shiny in the photos so I was hesitant but they aren’t like that in person. We went to Academy yesterday trying to find waterproof pants for my husband without much luck. They pants there were water resistant and also very thin. These are well made and look very nice. Great buy

Best snow pants I’ve had in a while!

These were perfect ! I didn’t want to pay a fortune for snow pants , and these were the cheepest I found ! They happen to fit amazing. I got a medium and my husband and I both wear them (were both tall and slim) . They fit and adjust so nicely on the waist , and they’re actually long enough! I sit and play in the snow with my little ones, and I don’t get wet or cold!

What a pity

Upon opening the package, I smelled something strange. Once the bag that has the pants was taken out, I saw a white shirt with stains packed together with the pants. Opened the bag and a repulsive smell came all over the place. Clogs of long blond hair stuck in the velcro strips, millions of pet fur on and in the pants. The fleece in-line was completely ruined by the fur, tiny white flakes of, I don’t know, possibly dead skin and unidentifiable scum. Needless to say how bad everything smelled. There were also mud stains on the ankles. Clearly someone dug them out of their laundry basket and returned them. I don’t usually mind buying tagless returned items that’s put on sale. But this time, I wonder who would cut off the tag, wear them for apparently quite a while and then return them?! I rate these pants 4 stars because the product itself meets my expectations. My shopping experience? No.

Be careful what size you buy returning is an issue

These are very nice snow pants. But I ordered two sizes and unfortunately neither one fit. I returned the smaller pair like normal but the XX Large, 34 inseam I could only return with a charge of $11.41. I’ve searched amazon to figure out why but can’t find the reason. Again, very nice snow pants but be careful.

Me animé a comprarlo por los comentarios y las fotos de la publicación. Consideré lo que dicen de que las tallas vienen un poco grandes, lo agradezco por cierto, como referencia por la etiqueta del pantalón les pongo las tallas: S(29-30 x 31), M(32-34 x 32), L(36-38 x 32) XL (40-42 x 32). A mi me quedó bastante bien. Materiales de excelente calidad, se siente al sacarlo de la envoltura y ajusta erfecto.

Zero Starts Would Be More Appropriate

I actually bought these thinking they were made by Arc'teryx. Big mistake! I now have 2 pair. The first pair I bought the draw string (thin elastic) at the waist did not work at all - the lock mechanism was broken and the pants would not stay up. Company was good and offered to replace. 2nd pair arrived and it was the same thing! My post-office is a long distance and it just wasn't worth another trip in over these so now I have two useless pair of snow pants. They also have a very low waist line in my opinion. The distance between the crotch and the waist line is very short and allows snow in. They are insulated which is OK if you don't want to wear anything else but makes layering impossible. Would not recommend or buy again.
