Nice pants but BIG!
On the whole, these are fairly nice rain pants - they’re certainly waterproof and will keep a kiddo dry even through a day of splashing in puddles (when paired with waterproof boots and a nice raincoat - pants by themselves can only do so much)! The material is typical rain pant material with sealed seams and a bit of reflecting material (which is nice since these are a true dark black - which is what I wanted). Seams and material seem to be of good quality and should prove durable, though as other reviewers have noted, I wouldn’t mind reinforced knees given the pounding that little boys (and girls!) can put their clothes through. Generally the price is right for what you get as well. So why only 4 stars? That comes down to sizing - I ordered the small since my 4ft/50lbs kiddo wears a small in just about everything else (which is usually a 6-7 or thereabouts). Here they have a small as a size 8 which I didn’t see anywhere in the listing - and it’s definitely at LEAST a size 8 if not a bit bigger. So he won’t really be able to wear this pair for a year or two yet at least. To that end, if ordering, I would go a size smaller than you normally order (at least). That said, I can still recommend them with that sizing caveat!

Too big
These are nice pants. They are sturdy, well made, and a nice quality material. However, they are much too big. I'll have to save them until my kid grows into them.

Length is correct but runs a bit wide
I followed the size chart and ordered a size large (14-16 ) for my almost 12 year old. As a result, there was some extra length but that was to be expected given I had ordered a size up. Therefore in terms of length I'd say this is pretty spot on. Given that the bottom part has elastic, the extra length isn't an issue as the elastic keeps the bottom cinched and they just sit around the top of his boots. In terms of width, there is quite a bit more room. My son is a bit on the skinny side but still there was quite a bit of room so that if he wanted to wear his regular pants under it, there was more than enough room for that. The pants seem to be made if pretty nice material and there is a nice liner on the interior. My only complaint is that the interior liner is a little loose and not sewn or tacked to the outer later. As a result it gets snagged on his foot as he tries to put the pants on. We found it a lot easier to get the pants on if he had his socks on but still, the excess fabric while it feels nice, just gets snagged. Overall a nice pair of rain pants for active kids who may spend extended periods out in wet conditions.

Runs a bit wide but overall good
The quality of this rain coveralls is pretty good and you can tell that it will repel rain well from the material. It’s also not too bulky and cumbersome to have on which is a plus. It does run a bit wide, but I’m not complaining since my son is a bit husky. The length seams to be average length and since it bunches on the bottom of the legs it will fit most heights without issue. Overall we’re pretty happy with it!

No Size Chart
Maybe I missed something, but I could not find a sizing chart for these...so I had to just make a guess. Considering these are marketed for children, I figured a size XL would be for 10 to 12 year olds. Well, they are still too large for my 13 year old. However, they are heavy and durable - very well-made. They are warm and comfortable and keep my son dry out in the snow. If there was an accurate size chart, that would be perfect.

Nice quality rain pants, fun colors
The Arctix Kids Aspen Rain Pant works well for us. We have some full-body zip-up style rain suits as well, but this suspender style makes it easy to put on over clothes. The adjustable suspenders are attached securely with sturdy buckles. Stitching on this item is cleanly done. There are reflective bands at the lower legs and a reflective logo at the back of the right hip. Elastic gathers at each side of the waist help with the fit. There is also a loop so you can easily hang these up to dry when you come back in from the rain. The material is soft, flexible, and waterproof. The inner lining is smooth and feels nice to the touch. I can also see through the lining that the seams are indeed sealed on the inside. The sizing chart seems pretty accurate to me. We ordered a size Medium (for 10-12 years old), and it has a 26" inseam, which correlates well with a height of 55-59' as recommended in the listed sizing chart. The adjustable suspender part will help with adjusting for growth. These rain pants are a fun way to enjoy rainy days outside! I would highly recommend them!

HIGHER END RAIN/MUD GEAR - WILL ADD SIZE CHART IN PHOTOS
I got these for my 8 year old who LOVES to play in the mud/rain. These are a higher end, quality product but manufacturer made ordering hard by not supplying a good size chart. I have taken a photo and added here what was attached to the pants when I got it. They ended up being too big for my kiddo but he will quickly grow into the size we ordered (Large). They have an inside liner, the cuffing is stretchable (good amount so could easily go over thick boots) and the bib design is great for securing them in place. The straps are a quality stretch material and overall I am really pleased with this product. Normally not a price I would pay for rain/mud pants, but if you are looking for a high end, quality product that will last, fit well, great comfort, etc, then these are a big win.

Thick raincoat material; has a small tear
Has a small tear in the outer layer of it. I am uncertain of if it came that way or something happened in my house since we got it. At least it's high up so it will be under a raincoat. Hopefully the rest of it will not have that happen; it feels like nice, thick raincoat material. I like the reflective material on both legs for extra visibility. I like how it is folded over and goes up a ways at the bottom so the lower part of the leg is more protected. These are HUGE for my kid, but we will just have to keep the legs rolled up (rolled on the inside) until she grows into them better. I didn't see a size chart when ordering and was thinking a small was 6-8, but it is 8. My daughter currently is in 5t stuff.
