Awesome Quality!
I thought quality was great, fit was great and most of all it kept me warm..., and I live in Minnesota!

Good jacket
Jacket makes a very good first impression. Seems to have the features and to be made of acceptable quality material. But, I was not expecting it to be so lightweight, very little insulation. Our weather has been damp and mild. Jacket, so far, has proved to be resistant to rain but cannot be used as a rain jacket. I use my Gore Tex outerwear for rain. A critical issue is the shoddy stitching. I have added black stitching in the collar area to halt the seam separation that has started. Headed to Chicago where the temperatures will be in the teens, I'll post an update after my trip.

Wrong Size!!
I bought a L and should've went with XL, 6'2 205lbs jacket fit to snug. Great looking jacket though.

Functional Protection From The Elements
X-Large was the perfect selection for a thin, 6-03, 200 lbs., male. Great fit, attractive color, well made, warm.

"Heavy-Duty" - Durable - Made in Bangladesh
If you glanced quickly at the pictures, you might think that the bottom of this jacket is florescent green. But it is not. Those are the shorts/pants that the model is wearing. This is a very “robust” coat. For lack of another way of putting it I would say that it is “heavy-duty”. Very durable. I have the arrowhead black/charcoal color. Make sure you place your mouse over the top of the jacket as well as the sleeves so that you see the arrowhead design on it in those locations. Otherwise the jacket is solid black elsewhere. Though the arrowhead design doesn’t pop out, as it would if it were a different color, it still looks really great on this jacket. This jacket has two lower zip pockets, one upper zip pocket, and one small mesh pocket inside. This jacket has a removable hood. Which is really great because you don’t always want a hood such as this. There is a drawstring around the hood. There is also a drawstring on the bottom of the coat. I have the size medium. It measures 28 ½ inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom. The arms measure 26 inches from where they attach at the shoulder to the end. There is some elastic in the cuffs as well as Velcro to make the wrists even tighter. This jacket measures 23 ½ inches across. This jacket is made of 100% polyester. It has a polyurethane coating on the outside. The inside is nice and fuzzy. This code is made in Bangladesh. Though I think the company Arctix is US. If you can get the coat in the color you want and the size you want for the current low end of the pricing scale, it is really a great coat to have.

Love this coat!
I needed a heavier winter coat than might lightweight puffer types. I have a couple of really nice northface coats but they're too big for me since I've lost weight. This Arctix coat is very well made, stylish and has lots of nice features. Heavy duty zippers, wind flap with snaps, zippered chest and hand pockets, detachable and adjustable hood, internal mesh pocket, adjustable waist, and a high collar that blocks the wind. The detachable hood fits pretty well, and even cinched down it doesn't block my glasses like these sorts of hoods often do. Like most detachable hoods there are openings that wind can potentially get through - that comes with the territory but I still prefer detachable hoods to fully attached or rollup types. The jacket is very warm with a fleece lining. I've not had it in the rain yet or extreme cold so I can't tell how well it actually performs in inclement weather, but it does a great job of holding the warmth in. Even wearing it a few minutes you can feel the warmth of it but it's not so warm that it is uncomfortable. This coat is a bit heavier and warmer than my triclimate hiking coat which trades warmth for weight and adaptability. I think for most people this coat strikes a good balance between weight and function for all but the worst inclement weather. Although this coat is very good there are a few features that would make it even better. First, the hood is not insulated - this isn't the coat you want if you're out in driving snow, but it ought to be fine for rain. Second. the hood lacks a separate a neck adjustment like my northface coats have - although the hood fits me fine this would provide an extra degree of adjustability that might help someone else. Third, the coat lacks pit-zips which can help cool you down when you get too warm. This may not be an issue since the coat is supposed to be somewhat breathable but time will tell. That said this coat is nearly 1/3 of the cost of my northface coats and seems to be nearly as good. That's a selling point all on its own.

Skeptical, but proven wrong. GREAT sturdy and warm winter ski jacket.
I found the ARCTIX Men's Espresso Insulated Winter Jacket for very, very cheap and I was very skeptical at first. However, I bought it as I needed a new ski jacket for Winter season (2021-2022) and, my oh my if that was not the bargain of the century! Pros: - Extremely warm - Very sturdy (I fell probably 20-30 times and not a scratch, no ripping) - Velcro adjustable cuffs - Generous protective hood - Fully waterproof (used in the Vancouver rain for a winter hike and clothes underneath remained dry) - Spacious, flexible, not tight (wears the correct size) - Perfect external chest pocket for the phone - Perfect internal chest pocket for valuables Cons: - The zip managed to get stuck twice - The hand pockets could be bigger - The velcro under the chin can be scratchy, problem solved with a gaiter or a scarf

Very Nice Coat
This coat is really nice quality. It arrived on time and my son is very pleased with it. It is true to size. It's not thick but warm enough for fall or mild/medium winter days.
