Would buy again

I'm 5'9" 135 lbs and these fit me great everywhere. They dry quick, they're lightweight, they seem durable enough for climbing over rocks and logs, and they're very comfortable for backpacking. I wore them on a 25 mile backpacking trip and they didn't get loose on me, even after waking 3 miles in the rain and then dried very fast. The legs are baggy enough that you don't need to take your boots off to remove the pant legs, but not too baggy that there is too much extra material (I have skinny chicken legs). The only reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish they had bigger zip pockets for a cell phone or some snacks and it would be nice if the shorts were shorter for the realy hot days. The shorts come to my knees and I'm pretty tall. Otherwise, I love these pants for summer backpacking.

Finally a length that works for me

I tried several other brands of similar hiking pants before finding these. I'm 5'8" and the regular inseam are perfect (after reading reviews I knew the tall inseam would be too long). I typically wear M in pocket leggings and a 4 to 6 in jeans. I went with the S in these, perfect. Size down when ordering. My only complaint is the pockets aren't large enough for my phone. I'd never use the side pockets for that as I hike, my phone would fall out. These need a decent sized zip pocket on the thigh like the one found on their ski pant they also make. Overall, great bargain.

Sizing is strange, but can make them work with some modification

I have been looking for reasonable convertible hiking pants for almost a month. After trying several, all of them FAR too tight to be able to layer while hiking (hey women's hiking pants manufacturers: we need these to be FUNCTIONAL, which means they need to not be so tight in the thighs that we can't put more layers under them when needed outdoors!) I am 5'4" 200 lbs, normally I fit an XL, usually an XXL will be loose enough to layer. I ended up with 3XL, but the waist is HUGE, so I will be adding darts and elastic to get them to fit, but these are the ONLY ones so far that work in the thighs. Why is it so hard to find pants that fit??

Super comfy

These pants are awesome! The fabric is lighter than a sweat pant but heavier than a legging. They have a slim fit through the legs. I am 5’10” and 145 pds. Buy them!

Fit through the thigh

The length is not bad for petite. I ordered a large and had to return, way to tight in the thighs. Ordered an XL still tight but manageable but now need a belt for the waist. My Alaska trip is not until July so hopefully l can shed a couple of pounds so the pants aren’t tight in the thighs. So frustrating.

Not as Described

I ordered the short inseam which was supposed to be 29 inches. They aren't just long on me, they puddle down on the floor. I normally prefer a 30 inch inseam to hit the tops of my shoes but this one is far longer. You can tighten the pant around the ankle so it doesn't drag which is what I'm doing. I only have them for one trip. The price was ok and I'll keep these. The waist is big but the legs are snug in terms of fit, so not really meant for my shape. Would not purchase again or if I needed them for regular use.

Sizing is weird

I wanted to love these pants. I do love the color but I could not find a size to fit me. I'm 6'0, 32" inseam, usually size 12, sometimes 10. I first ordered the Medium Tall and Large Tall, since I'm leaving in a couple days for a hiking trip and can't find anything in local stores. The MedT fit great except they were about 3 inches too long. They would have been like sleeves for my shoes. The LgT had a giant waist and the same massive length. I ordered the regular Medium thinking they would be just right, but the thighs were much tighter than the MedT and the zippers chafed. Sending all of them back, sadly. They seem like good value pants if you get the right fit. The fabric is on the thicker side and seems like it would be durable. They don't breathe much, so better for cooler weather hikes? I'm thankful for the flexible return policy and the try-before-you buy!

Nice trail pants!

Although the other reviews said that these run REALLY long, I went ahead and ordered them in long. I am 5' 9" and ALL legs. these were over four inches too long. They are great trail pants and I like the pockes. They do indeed, make a swishing sound due to the fabric blend, but it didn't bother me. I love how they fit in the waitst line! I am considering buying them again!

Cómodo, bonito y femenino

Están lo máximo!! Son super bonitos!! De corte ajustado pero strechy lo que los hace super cómodos. El color esta divino y me quedaron super bien. Ligeros y transpirables. Me muevo en bici con ellos, haciendo trekking y multiples actividades al outdoor y me encanta que sean convertibles lo que los hace con doble propósito en mi estilo de vida. Este modelo me ajustó muy bien la talla CH. Los resortes laterales sutilmente dan un ajuste perfecto y le dan flexibilidad a cada movimiento. Como referencia soy talla 7, mido 1.65 y peso 60kg.

Diseño y color bonito, calidad Intermedia

Acabo de recibir el pantalón, llegó muy rápido. El color está padrísimo, el diseño bastante cómodo, no aprieta del cierre de las piernas (que es algo que he visto en otros pantalones convertibles), el cierre principal sube y baja con dificultad, espero que no se descomponga pronto. Las costuras con algunos "detalles". La talla corresponde perfecto. En general me gustó aunque hubiera deseado mejor calidad en los acabados.

Sizing is so off! They run large

I really wanted to like these pants and tried them out in three different sizes. I normally wear a 32/33 inseam so was excited when they had the tall option. I'm not sure if it was the cut of the pants but they were waaay to long. Touching the floor! And the waistband was huge(xl) I normally wear a size 12/14 pant, depending on the cut. I then ordered the large tall hoping the size down would help, again way to big in all accounts. I then tried the medium regular (note** I am never a medium in bottoms!) And the length was great, waist band great but the cut again was weird. It was loose around the waist but tight around my thighs. Anyways long story short, the sizing is very strange for these pants, for me, but maybe it will help others choose as well! I gave it my best shot with three tries. Other than the sizing, the pants were well made. The zippers came off nicely, labeled so you know which pant they go with. The material would dry quickly when wet. There's a fair amount of stretch in the waistband as well as belt loops so the adjustability is good.

Cut and sizing is weird.

I tried 2 sizes and I'm giving up. The quality of these pants seems good. However, there are two different size charts on this listing. I apparently used the wrong one for the first pair and the pants were far too large. I ordered the next size down after returning the first. The nature of the fabric (slippery) and the low waist mean they fall down if I bend over. Not a great look for hiking/kayaking.
