Lots of trial and error
TL;DR: After I finally got the hang of it, I love it! We have 3 water features running separately on 2 pumps; frog spitter and waterfall on the 1056 gph pump, and the water fountain on its own 660 gph pump- all in a 50 gal pond. In an effort to cut down on all the cords and the ridiculous amount of pond space this whole setup was taking (poor fishies), we got this splitter (and a bigger pond- pictured). The installation: The installation itself was easy, it fit our1056 gph pump perfectly. On to execution: Hooooo man... Getting the water pressure right for all 3 water features was a whole process. Originally I wasn't able to have the frog spitter hooked up because when you have all 3 valves completely open or even somewhat open, the water pressure decreases for each output. Not a big deal for the fountain and the spitter, but the waterfall pressure dropped to the point where water flow from the spillway was going off the sides of the rocks and out of the pond. We adjusted the valves every which way to no avail, the waterfall was either too light, or the frog spitter was too light (it dribbled down its chest and out of the pond). We scrapped the frog idea until we could think of a better way. I came back to this listing to see if I missed something, and then saw the first reviewer's thing about "water always takes the easier route"- seriously, I knew this! My husband does civil engineering, HE knows this! Why didn't this click before?? I originally had the hose to the waterfall, the one that needed the strongest output, on one of the side spouts. I just needed to move it to the middle. I hooked up the frog spitter to the side spout, and that fixed the problem (after some more valve adjusting to find the goldilocks setting, of course). Moral of the story: if you have a water feature that requires stronger water flow, use the middle spout for it and adjust from there. Water really does take the path of least resistance.

Elbow will leak.
It's a reasonable manifold with ball valves, so not a ton of control over flow, but enough for most purposes. Standard NPT threads, this will fit lots of pumps and bulkheads for rain barrels and such. The elbow has average gaskets and you can mitigate the leak with some silicone, but no matter whether you use Teflon tape or o rings or silicone or the stock gaskets or any combination thereof, the elbow is going to leak out one of the connections.

Good
Did the job and works well!

Good for the right application
This is a great valve for the right setup. It seems to reduce flow from the pump weather you use three, two or even one valve. I have a 1600gph pump and noticed a significant difference in flow when I removed it from the system.

Great item. Does exactly what it should.
The media could not be loaded. I needed a splitter for my TetraPond 14936 Water Garden 700 GPH Pond Pump. This fits PERFECTLY in the pump's output hole ( hahaha don't know the right term). Feels like a very solid piece of hardware. At less than $20 for a "used" one that was actually just missing the packaging it was a steal. I VERY MUCH recommend it! I included a video to show that if you want water to come out the lateral spouts you need to partly close the center nozzle. Water always takes the easier route. Edit: Follow up! Still going strong and working great!

Exactly what I needed
We have a nice concrete pond in our back yard with a 5' lava rock waterfall. We never got it working while I was working, mostly because we didn't want the maintenance or cost, but now that I'm retired and home more, we decided to clean it up and get it working. It has 3 distinct places for water return for waterfalls. This was exactly what I needed and easy to install. One recommendation (which most people probable already know, but word to the wise if you don't), be sure you secure your hoses with hose clamps.

Missing adapter after three attempts.
Great product that works well. Easy setup. Happy with the product. Five stars if the adapter wasn't missing. I ordered THREE and each one is missing the adapter shown in the photo. I had to purchase an adapter locally for my application.

Perfect fit
This valve screwed right into the top of my pump without any adapters. It does exactly what I need it to do. I can run 3 water features off my 1056 GPH pump. Well built and works great.
