Not the easiest hangers to use
I bought these to hang up a few pieces of my Blue Willow dishes/platters. The rubber pieces that clutches to the dish to keep from scratching it comes off when you are trying to stretch it over the piece. The springs they have aren't stationery so they move from one side to the other side. Not easy to do alone, I ended up having my husband hold the dish so I could try to stretch the hanger. **YES I did buy the correct size hanger** Plates were 10" in diameter and I bought the 8" to 11" hanger. Once I got them on the wall, they do look very nice.

Mounting method a bit flimsy
Makes it easy to mount a decorative plate on a wall. It is a bit undersized so my 9 inch plate took some strength to pull the hook on. I have to trust my expensive plate to a small push pin. I would prefer that being more robust, e.g. allowing me to use a wood screw.

The spring is VERY TIGHT, so you might want to buy the next size up from the actual measurement recommended on the product package, but otherwise, my plates are VERY secure and I don't have to worry about them falling... they are not going ANYWHERE with these hangers on them!

Decent plate hanger
Effective plate hanger. Only downside for me is I wanted to hang an oblong picture and the way the hanger on the back is positioned didn't allow me to hang it the way it was designed. My husband used some tie-wire on the plate hanger so I wasn't hanging the plate from the springs that hold the plate on the plate hanger (see pictures) so I could hang it the correct orientation and still use the plate hanger. Seems secure and fairly straightforward to put on and is near invisible once on. UPDATE: We had a 7.1 earthquake last week and this plate hanger (and the plate it was holding) both remained on the wall. We didn’t experience and damage, but our neighbors did have pictures and such that fell off their walls. I was worried the “hack” for hanging orientation would affect its ability to hold the plate securely, but it would seem it was not affected.

Will fit, but need to size up
the spring is a little on the non stretchy side so do size up when ordering.have had my plates hanging for about 2 months now on the provided screws and they seem to be holding up pretty well.

Didn’t fit
Had to get a refund. It was a 10” plate and I was afraid it would break trying to stretch the holder over it

They work to hang more than you’d think...
So. This is supposed to be used for hanging plate & bowls on the wall. Well. I don’t have any plates or bowls that I want to hang on my wall, and honestly, I think it is a little weird if you want to hang plates & bowls on the wall. But. Probably an idea that’s equally as odd. I wanted to horizontally wall-mount my set of Girl Skateboard Co’s collab decks (with Spike Jonze/Beastie Boys) in my basement. While there are many options for vertically hanging skateboard decks as art, there aren’t many hangers for ‘sideways’. For some reason I thought of this product. Bought one to try it out, it worked...so bought more. Will see how they work long-term, but they seem to be fine for my weird application.

Coming from a prolific plate-hanger person: this one is great.
I love these things. I hang a lot of plates on my walls cuz I'm a 90 year old in a 30 year old's body. This one is great, fits my 8 inch plate perfectly. When it's up on the wall you can't even see the hooks (check out pic). The way you put it onto the plate is in the second picture. It also has a wall hook and nail you can use to hang it to make it super sturdy. Very happy with it
