Magic!
We had a new pond, and as soon as the temps rose, everything turned green. This started killing the algae the first day - I cleaned the filter the next, did a 2nd dose, wiped the algae off the sides of the pond - the next morning, everything was perfectly clear! I did the 3rd dose and will clean the filter again tomorrow and do weekly treatments. I can't believe how fast and well this worked. For my pond, this size bottle will last me all summer. (I don't have plants or fish yet.)

Keeps my pond in check
I use this, along with the eco sludge, each week to keep the algae in my pond in check. Pond is small and I use 4 capfuls each week, taking a break in cold winter. It doesn’t completely eradicate the algae, which is fine as the fish eat the algae, but it keeps the water clear and the algae from blooming out of control. Fish get a little squirmy for about 5 minutes after I apply it, so I can tell it disturbs them a bit, but they’ve been growing in my pond happily and healthily for 2.5 years. Birds use pond for bathing and drinking, and tree frogs reproduce like crazy, so it is definitely animal-friendly.

I live in NTX, and I have a 170gal koi pond on my back porch. It's been there for years, and I have an algae problem all summer. I started using ALGAEFIX last year, and it did. . . ok. I had to use a lot of it for a long time to actually get ahead and stay ahead of algae growth. (This is the reason for the 4 stars. The rest of the story is completely my fault.) There is a BIG YELLOW BOX on the back of the bottle - read this very carefully!! Earlier this summer I cleaned my tank. I have a fountain that comes up through the middle and acts as an aerator. After cleaning, I treated with ALGAEFIX, and then although I left the bubbler going, I left the top part of the fountain off. I was anticipating algae die-off, and I was figuring in a day or two I would clean out the filter one last time before setting up the fountain feature again. The weather was warm, but not all that hot, really. Apparently the bubbler alone without the fountain does NOT keep adequate O2 in the water - the next morning all 18 fish were swimming near the top in circles, sucking air. I aerated fast and hard, but only managed to save 6 fish. This product works, but you'll have to use more than you think. You WILL have an O2 dump if you use this product in warm weather. Add an extra bubbler, or you will lose fish.

The bottle says 16 ounces but it’s only a 12 ounce bottle?
The product works well, but there’s only 11 ounces in the bottle, the bottle is only 12 ounces,, The label says 16 ounces not true

It works.
I tried and take my risk of 10 dollar. My goldfish pond is outside, and have so much sunshine. The algae is super green. I can’t see the fish at all. And the water was like green painting. Whenever I pour it, it turns green. First time. I pour little bit, not working, then I put more, the gold fish begin breathing so hard on surface. Then I know, it works! After couple days, the algae turns to Greyish green, and I can see it is floating. Just like it say, it doesn’t hurt the fish, but need full aeroation during the process. And should try little by little determined by ur pond size. Last but least important, after treatment, the dead algae still in water, so I use filter to screen it, now I can see the bottom, and fish begin chasing each other.

It really works
I'm using this for my indoor fountain. Was really tired cleaning the constant algae buildup up in the fountain base. And needed a solution as changing water and cleaning the heavy fountain every week was getting hard, not to mention the clogging off fountain pump filter. This has been a game changer and I haven't had to change water in 2 months. Every week I add a gallon of water to replace what evaporated and add a few drops of the solution and boom. No buildups so far.
