The original wall plate I purchased and have been using for years looks as good as it did when I installed it
About five or six years ago I purchased a single toggle Amer Tac wall plate as a sample from our local hardware chain and instead of restocking them, they discontinued them. Needless to say I was thrilled to see them listed on Amazon. While the name on the package is Amerelle, they are still made by Amer Tac and sell at a very reasonable price. The wall plates are made out of cast metal so they will last a life time. The original wall plate I purchased and have been using for years looks as good as it did when I installed it. The design adds an artistic look to the light switches and walls installed on. The plates I purchased have an antique nickel (like a light grey) background and a touch of black trim to make them stand out if used on light colored walls such as off-white, egg shell, light greys and etc.

Little details that make a difference.
This is definitely a cute, unique, affordable light switch cover. When it first arrived I was a bit surprised by how thick it is. I was concerned it would stand out from the wall too much. It does stand out from the wall further than the plain switchplate it replaced but the more I look at it/use it, the less I mind. It doesn't obscure the actual switch at all, and it is very pretty looking. Overall, I'm very pleased with the look and I plan to buy more switchplates to match this in the near future.

Absolutely perfect!
I know, crazy to give 5 stars to an outlet cover, but you can’t understand how excited I was when I opened the box! I have been shopping for the right outlet cover for weeks, I have looked online, in lowes, Home Depot, electric stores, every place that has outlet covers. I have spent so much time ( and money) buying and then returning covers. I can’t believe the quality and weight of these covers! And at such a low price.

Love it
I got a set of these for my bedroom as a finishing touch after new paint and I love them! They're about 1/4" deep and feel pretty solid. I wasn't worried about torquing down an ounce too hard and cracking them like the cheap covers. The image is also pretty spot-on in terms of color and texture. Mine didn't have any chips or defects and the color was consistent.

Really nice with a little work
As is it can give off a cheap vibe, but I spray painted them with matte black spray paint and they look AWESOME! They take paint really well.

Absolutely LOVE these. I bought them for my bedroom and they look fantastic. They are heavy and are higher quality. Looks beautiful! I purchased a couple of these, and then purchased more a year later. The price had about doubled, unfortunately, but it was worth it.

Apparently the best part of my extensive renos.
Surprisingly, I get a lot of compliments on this light switch cover. I have reno'd the entire diningroom, new pine board ceiling, new wainscoting walls, crown molding, new floor, wallpaper etc, and people say "OH!! I love your wall switch cover" so yeah, it's a good buy and looks great.
