Love it!

I have been watching for a 500 piece United States of America puzzle that didn’t cost too much, and looked fun and colorful. This was the one! Beautiful colors, good quality pieces, no dust, lots of fun to make, and a good challenge. This one I had to start with the middle of the puzzle and work my way out to the border. Highly recommend!

This puzzle was so unique! The pieces did not fit like your typical puzzle. Super fun and would buy another just like it.

Beautiful but Deceptive!

While we enjoyed the challenge of this puzzle, many of the pieces could fit in multiple places. The strategy to create your outer edge/frame first definitely does not work with this puzzle. In fact, one of the last pieces we inserted was to move pieces in the outer frame. However, the vintage travel posters of the National Parks are lovely and provided various fun pictures within the larger picture to assemble. I might purchase another puzzle like this, but I would want to remember that the shape of the pieces is not a reliable strategy for putting together the puzzle.

Very challenging but beautiful

This was really difficult for me to put together and I do intermediate to difficult puzzles. Basically, there aren't too many color groups other than aquas and the Monet brushwork didn't help. After I put it together I turned it over and marked it in sections A-H, as some difficult puzzles do today, so that when I put it together again it will be less frustrating. It is a beautiful puzzle!

Beautiful artwork! Don’t expect the one you ordered.

Love the design! And it’s a great challenge (some of the pieces are deceptive)! But, as many reviews have said, don’t expect to get the one you ordered! I lol’d when it happened to us. Even though we got the wrong one, the appearance and park choices were just as good! Uncertain how to ensure I’d get the correct one if I order again.

Missing pieces

Yes, many of the pieces fit together where they don’t belong. My wife began putting it together and soon realized that fact. At first she was frustrated, but continued to work it and was very pleased when she finished. She doesn’t look at the picture while she puts puzzles together. I decided I would try, knowing it would be difficult. So I made my own strategy and had it done in two days. That was the first time I had put a puzzle together by myself. Once we were aware many pieces fit together, we realized there would be two or three of almost the same color and design. That’s when we learned to build around those pieces until we knew for sure where they went. Fun. If people don’t like jigsaw puzzles because they are too hard, why even get puzzles in the first place? Just buy a print or photo. Better yet, buy a children’s puzzle with only 4 pieces. The purpose of jigsaw puzzles isn’t to find the easiest to put together. The purpose is to spend time enjoying the challenge. Usually we do one together and it is a good family project. We did enjoy it and I have ordered another from the same company for the same reason. We are going to work together separately and challenge each other on who can put it together the quickest. The 4 star instead of 5 was because we did have to remove and replace pieces often, and the edges of some pieces peeled up because of the tight fit.

Item arrived damaged

We love this series of puzzles so we couldn’t wait to do this one! They are very fun to put together and the graphic design is fantastic. Unfortunately the box arrived with a hole in it. We will modge podge the puzzle (these puzzles are so cute and well designed that they need to be hung up!) and likely throw away the box anyways but the seller should know that future orders might need more secure packaging.
