Now, I’m on board with electric lawnmowers!
I am very impressed with this little mower. I’ve now used it three times for my little yard. The idea of it being corded wasn’t really much of an issue, just change the pattern you follow to allow the cord to always remain on the side it’s going to. I’m when I put the handles on I forgot the cord wrap thing and it was just a hassle to try taking it apart, no worries, though. I found it to be very light, it almost feels like a toy, but when you run it, it cuts your lawn at several different heights like nobody’s business! Im 60, and was no longer able to start a gas powered one, so I had to get rid of it. For the price of a yard maintenance guy, this little mower will pay for itself in 3 months. It does have a narrow cutting path, but for a small space, it wasn’t a big deal. It’s as quiet as an electric string trimmer. The clippings bag comes off and on very easily, too. I wouldn’t store it outdoors, however . I love this little treasure!

Worth the price if you have a small yard
This a a good working small lawn mower if you have a small area to mow and are on a budget. The convenience alone of not having to worry about running out of gas is worth it plus and it’s so simple to start. I returned it because I had too many things in the way it kept coming unplugged. Plus I need to go down further in the yard and don’t have cords long enough. But I truly would recommend this product

like vacuuming the lawn, but slower, more fiddling, and more broken stuff
I bought this because I am working on replacing my lawn so I don't need a super long term solution but in the mean time, I also need something easy to use. I didn't go fully manual because I want to let the grass go a little bit between mowing and my experience with fully manual mowers is they become painful to use if the grass has any height to it. I also didn't want to get a gas powered mower because gas. It's easy to set up, super easy to use and lightweight enough to push with one hand, which is enough for me to give it all 2 stars. It includes a lot of plastic and the plastic parts aren't great : * the handle that snaps onto the grass collector snaps directly back off the minute you try to use it to lift the grass collector bag. * they give you a little plastic cord holder, that for the life of me I cannot imagine would be useful in any scenario. * The button and the lever you pull to make it go are both plastic. The safety button stopped being required the second time I used it. Meaning you can pull the lever and make it go without pushing the button. Which is good I guess if the button is an inconvenience but bad if you have kids or are at risk of starting it with your foot in there. The entire body, the wheels and the bit that lifts the blade up and down are plastic... So... Probably doesn't speak well to longevity. In hindsight, it's funny that they provide instructions to sharpen the blade because the rest of the mower probably will not outlast the sharpness of the blade. Definitely not useful if the grass is AT ALL wet. At worst, it won't bag anything and will immediately clog but at best, you will stop every 10 feet to unclog it. On my yard, which is bumpy, the blade needs to be lifted a few clicks so that it will even roll. If it's wet, that means it's sliding across the ground because there isn't enough weight to make it roll. Grass collection is hit or miss. It leaves about as much on the ground as it picks up and that is with regularly stopping to shove your hand into the hole to unclog it- but hey, getting half of it is better than none of it, I guess? Good thing it has a safety button with all the sticking ones hand in there that needs to happen, eh? You have to go relatively slowly for it to cut everything in its path. That combined with needing to stop every 10-20 feet to unclog or empty it means it's slow going. It takes me 3 hours to cut the same area that it took my landscaper 30-45 minutes to cut with a gas push mower, for reference. For the price, it's ok and it will do the job for me for as long as I can stand unclogging it by hand every few minutes. I would have loved to have paid this amount and had a mower that does what it's advertised to do. I would have paid more to get one that has slightly better execution. This mower definitely will not work well for someone with more exacting standards for their lawn.

I recently purchased the American Lawn Mower Company 50514 Corded Electric Lawn Mower and I am very impressed with its performance. BEST LAWNMOWER!!
I wasn't sure about an electric lawn mower, but this one exceeded my expectations!! It was easy to assemble and very light weight. I had a huge area of grass to move that wasn't really smooth and this held up like a champ...cant wait to use it again

Works great!
Although it's super light it works remarkably well. It's also not very loud. It honestly feels more like vacuuming my yard than mowing it but it cut 6" high, damp grass with relative ease.

Cheap but functional
Very Light. Quick to assemble. Does feel like a toy. When the bag fills it can pull the mower up. I suspect it will only last 1 season. I Only got it at the end of this summer to deal with the last cut as my other mower broke. I would only get it for smaller lawns.
