Considering the alternatives (mostly flat padded liners or non-padded covers) this is the only option we really have for our daughter's mini crib. It fits our cheap (thin, firm) mini crib mattress with minimal warping and everything lays (and stays) flat and snug against the crib sides with a little pressure. The padding has held up very well and is still soft and not lumpy. It actually seems more comfortable than the sheets we put on top, making me wonder why we use one at all... We've used this successfully for about a year, though frequent/daily laundering has only started in the last couple months - since teething has left frequent drool puddles after naps/overnights. Unfortunately, after only 5 minutes on tumble dry medium (instead of the usual low) the waterproof layer completely separated on one seam. From past experience with waterproof items, I recognize that the higher heat can cause problems over time. However, this appears to be an avoidable problem with the location of the seam - especially since the other 3 sides are still firmly attached. I'll be buying two more, so that we won't run into the "hurry up and dry it" problem again. It's a good product as long as it lasts, but based on our experience and other reviews, I wish the stitching was done a little bit further from the edge of the plastic, since it's not particularly durable with the current setup.

It will work
I searched everywhere for a mattress pad without the vinyl backing for my pack n play. I was going to order the Snoozy Organic Cotton Waterproof PlayYard Pad but I bought that for my daughter a few years ago and it shrunk so small that it caused the mattress to bow and bunch up. I just received the American Baby mattress pad and it is definitely fluffy enough to provide some extra comfort for my baby which is all I wanted...I'm not interested in the vinyl to protect the mattress underneath because the mattress is already covered in vinyl, I actually wanted to use the pad to reduce the crunching sound and provide an extra barrier between the vinyl on the mattress and my baby. What I did was just pull a little on the vinyl backing on the pad and it ripped right out. Easy if you don't want the vinyl...but if you are looking for a waterproof pad then I'd be weary because the vinyl is really flimsy--obviously if I can pull on it just a teeny bit and it rips right out! The pad is VERY SMELLY and I am assuming this is from the vinyl as well (haven't washed it yet)...all the more reason to rip it out! Little babies don't produce enough urine to cause a big wet bed anyway...so overall I'm happy with the purchase, it's suiting my needs but like I said if you want a nice sturdy waterproof pad you might not be happy with this one.

Good Deal
It has been almost 4 months since I got this mattress pad for our Graco Pack 'n Play playard with a bassinet and it is still intact. I wash it AT LEAST once a week on a good week (usually it's 2 or 3 times a week) and it is still as good as new. It is definitely waterproof and the quilted top offers a bit of padding, which is nice given how stiff and hard the pack n play's mattress board is. This mattress pad fits the mattress board very snugly so I am not sure how it would fit if I were to have an actual mattress for the bassinet. I initially thought of getting a mattress for it, but decided against it because it would be one additional item to carry around. What I do for extra cushioning is wrap a few blankets around the mattress board and then put on the mattress pad which keeps everything in place and free of any leaks. Rating: This item got 4 stars because the quilted fabric is a bit rough. However, it goes under the sheets so you can worry about threat count or softness with the sheets.

This mattress pad is a nice quality and it adds a nice “pillow top” to an otherwise hard mattress. I deducted a star because it is a little too small for the Graco Pack-n-Play and Dream on Me 3” foam mini crib mattress. It doesn’t pull up the sides like other reviewers have said but it is significantly tight and the “pad” portion doesn’t entirely cover the mattress from end to end. Overall my baby doesn’t seem to care that it doesn’t cover the edges because he doesn’t sleep on the edges. It also does pull completely around the sides of the mattress so it’s not a safety hazard. When covered with a mini crib sheet you can’t even tell. For the price, I can’t complain, and my baby has a nice pillow top and waterproof cover for when we travel or when he is playing.

Chicco LullaGo Compatible
I bought this to use with the Chicco LullaGo portable cot/bassinet. It measures 19” by 33” and this product is 18” by 36” so it was a tad too long but I didn’t notice it being short on the sides. This actually fit pretty well. Once it was tucked under and a sheet was put on top you don’t even notice it’s there. The LullaGo comes with a waterproof sheet the bottom pads fit into but it’s a hastle honestly to take those two pieces out and wash it every couple of days. That’s also the only thing protecting the padding from stains and smells and whatever else could happen to it so the waterproof protector is an easier way to just strip it down when there’s an accident. I was also worried about wearing the LullaGo sheet down by washing it a lot so. This has been a life saver. Completely recommend it.

American Baby Company Waterproof Quilted Cotton Portable/Mini crib Mattress Pad Cover.
I bought this to use on my Dream On Me 3" Foam Graco Pack n Play Mattress. It had a sort of plastic-y smell to it when I first opened it, but after I washed it (in cold water, then hung to dry), the smell went away. Before I washed it, I tried it on my mattress, and it fit perfectly. But after I washed it, it went on kind of tight (particularly the length on the short ends). At first, I wasn't happy with it, but when I put a fitted sheet over it, you can't even tell that it doesn't fit perfectly. If anything, it seems to have made the mattress more comfortable, AND it has been able to absorb whatever spit-up, drool, or snot (when they had the sniffles) that have come out of my babies (instead of it pooling around their head). I'd give it a 5-star rating if it didn't have the shrinkage problem.

No es para colchón de cuna estándar
Me sentí bastante triste con esta compra porque la calidad del producto es muy buena, sin embargo, me confié que se describía como un cubre colchón de cuna y no corroboré las medidas, pero en realidad no le queda a una cuna de tamaño estándar. Tengo dos colchones, uno para cuna viajera y otro para la cuna regular. A ninguno le entró, queda muy pequeña, es más bien como para el colchón de un moisés o bambineto :(

Too small for Graco Pack n' Play
I mistakenly assumed that pack n' play mattresses were a fairly standard size, so did not compare mattress measurements with the measurements of this product before purchasing - my own fault. My pack n' play mattress is 27" x 36", so this cover is too small for the width of the mattress. It will still likely work as a back up cover, but is difficult to put on and get a decent fit. I wish it did fit, because it seems like a very good quality cover - nice soft material and washed really well!

Shrinks in the wash
This products washing instructions say 30 degrees wash and able to go in the dryer. I followed these instructions and the product shrunk. Does not fit the mattress now. The picture is the inside of the mattress cover as if it had heat damage. Do not put in the dryer

Totally waterproof
This sheet is surprisingly thin and yet 100% waterproof- I was actually surprised when I opened the package to see such a thin sheet. It’s since had lots of tests of leaked diapers or spills and not once has it leaked through to the crib mattress. Very pleased. Highly recommend and would purchase again.
