Unfortunate handling

I love the set, the style is beautiful, however, I returned the first set due to a plate and a cup being broken upon unwrapping, so I was excited to get the replacement set the very next day. Unfortunately the replacement set had 2 cups broken and at this point I’m just taking a loss of 2 cups and keeping the rest because I don’t feel like taking the second set to kohls for another broken replacement.

I was really excited to receive these new dishes. They all came packaged well and nothing was broken. Upon first inspection, I was pretty happy with their appearance and although they're lighter than I expected, I do like them. What keeps them from getting four or five stars is that after only being used twice, they already have marks on them from utensils. I honestly didn't expect the finish to wear down so easily, especially from using forks and knives on them which obviously is what they're used for. In addition to that, they become EXTREMELY hot in the microwave. So much so that I burned myself on a plate after reheating food for about a minute and a half. I'm disappointed overall because of the quality so I won't be adding additional pieces like I had planned to.

I bought a set for 12 of the Bianca Wave. It came very well packed, not a chip in any of the pieces, and looks exactly like the pictures. It's quite heavy but I don't object to that. The plates-dinner and salad- are large and when you have a dinner party for 8, it really takes up most of the table, but it looks beautiful. The bowls are a lovely shape. I don't use the mugs. I wouldn't put these in the dishwasher after I've read previous reviews, but I haven't had any problems with chipping, cracking...and I would definitely purchase them again.

Too hot too touch!

When you use these in the microwave they get extremely hot. I feel like I wasted $62 on this set of dishes - what is the point when you can’t reheat leftovers or warm up your coffee??

I love this set of dishes--very pretty, large and they look great on the table--a great value for the look and quality.

I love this set. I ordered it a few days before Thanksgiving because I wanted a white set that wouldn't conflict with ANY table setting. I have a gorgeous fine china set but needed an attractive, simple set to use for family gatherings of a less formal nature. I also wanted platter type plates to be used everyday with lots of different foods on one plate, (with perhaps dipping sauces) but big enough a plate that foods could be kept separate on the plate. These platters work perfectly. I also love the accent plates which work great for salads. My husband loves the bowls for cereal. Overall, I love the set. The cups are really big but light weight. They would work well for soups as well for coffee if you like a really big mug. The price was right for 8 full place settings. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Be aware that these are large platters so if you have a plate rack, be sure to measure to be sure they will fit. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will hold up well to daily use but they are supposed to be microwaveable so that will come in handy.

Gets extremely hot in microwave

These are pretty and say microwave safe but get extremely hot in the microwave. Other than not being able to put in microwave I love them.

You get what you pay for

This is an attractive set at a reasonable price. Very lightweight and porous. This ceramic will heat up rapidly if used in the microwave. Out of the 4 cups, two were damaged. One had a crack at the base of the handle and the other cup handle was not attached perpendicular to the base. I have only had these dishes for a few weeks and I always wash them by hand. I am pleased with the set, even though there are flaws.

Pretty But

These are pretty. But they are extremely lightweight and so fragile. My husband does not like them due to the fact he feels that at any time using them he thinks that they are going to break if he accidentally taps it on something. They are thin ceramic and not really for everyday use. The price is way too high for these and for a 4 place setting. If I knew that they would be this thin and light I would have passed.

Don't purchase!

Very pleased with this dinnerware. The plates are large! Definitely recommend them! Less than one year into owning these dishes the glazing on all of the pieces has cracked and has chipped off in the bottom of mugs. Not sure that they are good for use anymore.

The Dinnerware has spots that looked like dinnerware was dirty. Not like pictures at all.
