Not for "larger" men

I got hired for a Production job this week and we needed to be dressed up in better than just normal stage blacks. I figured, "let me get some good, reasonably priced Amazon Essentials Pants." Most of the Amazon essentials products have been wonderful in that they are of pretty good quality and the price is just right. If they fall apart after two weeks who cares! This week I gave these pants a test run for this Job... Length: Perfect Waist: Perfect Unfortunately for these pants, they will not fit you if you are more than just the "average bear". Let's just say the executives at a very large Global network got more of a show than they bargained for... Through out the whole 10 hour day of production I was making adjustments and getting squashed. YES I did try them before I brought them for work, but as most men know, when tucking in a shirt for "suit mode" pants usually get brought up higher on the waist. I did not test that and that Is my fault for showing off the boys. Love the Pants otherwise. Please think about the "larger" percentage of the population Amazon. Shallow pockets

The pants are very nice, cozy fitting, but good. The side pockets are not deep enough, they don't hold my usual pocket contents. Particularly, my I-phone slipped out of my pocket twice in the last week when I sat down, once under the seat of my car, and I had a devil of a time finding it and then retrieving it. The pockets don't work!

True to Size

True to size and color. They are a pretty thin feeling material/ just not the texture of your typical dress pant.

Nice fit

My son is 6’2 and 165 lbs. and we ordered the 32x34 and they look great. Slim but not too much, definitely not tight on him and he says they feel comfortable. I haven’t washed them yet but don’t anticipate any issues. They will be nice for graduation.

Order 3" bigger in waist - believe it!

I wear a 35" waist for most pants, including other Amazon Essentials pants. So of course I thought I knew better than all the reviews who said they run small. I was wrong - they run VERY small. Couldn't even button the 35" pants. Returned them and ordered 38" - they fit, but are still snug. Other than that, they are nice, inexpensive dress pants. The material is pretty thin, so don't expect them to keep you warm. Only wore them once, but happy so far.

Perfect Affordable Work Pants

Used the prime before you buy option to get the sizing right. With this brand i had to size up a little, so i ended up at a 35x29, and its the PERFECT fit. Not too loose on the legs but enough room for your legs to breathe. Bought the black and the Navy first and just bought another pair of the Dark Gray. I hope to stock up on these. The price is really unbeatable to what you get. The ONLY thing i wish it had was a slide instead of the traditional button. But no complaints. Love the pants.

They're trousers, black, inexpensive and they fit

I don't own or wear black trousers as a rule, but needed some as I'm attending a funeral. After a quick check on Amazon I couldn't believe the price of these at around £10; and believe it or not they're 'green' as they're made from recycled material. Maybe they're not the most stylish and the material does look a bit cheap and thin, but as I'm likely to wear them just the once that suited me perfectly, plus I won't be feeling too guilty if I decide to put them straight into a recycled clothes bag.

Exactly what I wanted

Finding smart trousers that fit well is a real pain, especially when buying online. These Amazon-branded dress/suit trousers have exceeded my expectations, fitting well and being brilliant priced. The trousers fit like slim trousers should do. They're neither baggy nor tight, a perfect balance for ideal smartness. The size I ordered fitted exactly, unlike other trousers I've ordered, putting a big smile on my face. The value stretches further to the material itself, the trousers are very comfy to wear and look more expensive than being 'generic' Amazon branded. In all, really pleased with the purchase, Amazon offers precise sizes to meet all needs. I even went ahead and bought more colours.

More a Straight fit rather than Slim fit.

I found these to be comfortable to wear, they fit really well if you manage to get the right size. They seem more like a straigth fit than a slim fit, but I really like the design and quality of the trousers. They seem a bit thin at first, thats because they compress them for storage and transportation when manufactured. Try hanging them over a heater or radiator for a few hours and they get thicker or after a few washes. Fitting wise: They are standard fit, not much different from other makes or styles, if your a 34, buy a 34. Would Recommend.

Smart Trousers, Smart Price!

A good product for the price. I needed a pair of smart trousers quick, I couldn't afford high street prices. I ordered these for next day delivery. They arrived on time, fitted perfectly and look very smart. they seem to be well made. I don't know how they will wash or how long they will last but they were just what I needed and I am very pleased with them. Excellent value!

Dear Fellow Amazonians, This is my first purchase of Amazon Essentials Men's’ trousers and I am very pleasantly surprised; as you will discern from this review title. I usually have trouble in finding Men’s formal trousers’ that fit smartly and comfortably without first requiring minor tailoring alterations: so forgive the metaphor when I say they fit like a glove.
