Shrunk badly even after hand washing and reshaping

The extra large fit great the day we opened it. Then I hand washed it and reshaped it and laid it out to dry. The next morning it had shrunk to the point where both the sleeves and the length were too short - my son will never ever wear it again. I rewashed it and dried it in the dryer and it shrunk enough that it now fits little old me, a size small. This shrunk from an extra large to a med/small in ONE washing. :( :( Ordered as a Prime Wardrobe try before you buy item. Due to shipping delay/missing item I reordered this to get it in time for Xmas, then the missing item arrived. Too much trouble to return so now I have 2 of this, and neither of them fit my son who they were purchased for. The color is very nice. It's soft. It will shrink beyond belief and no longer fit you if you wash it.

Nice work in the shop sweater

Use mine for working in my shop. Welding, grinding etc. these sweaters are nice because they are cotton. They also seem to last reasonably well. They are not a high price sweater so they fit rather floppy and the neck line makes me look a bit chicken neck (fit 68years old). I live in Arizona so I only need them in the fall and winter months. Not so good for motorcycling with a jacket as they are a bit breezy (loose nit).

Large but fixable

Sweater is very soft and not scratchy at all. You could easily wear this with nothing underneath it if you wanted to. When I opened the package it looked huge, when I tried it on it was too big. I’m a 5’4” 132lb guy. I generally wear slim (not skinny) fitting clothes even though my shoulders/chest are larger. I bought an XS, it was about 4” too long in the arms and about the same in the waist. After 2 rounds of hot wash/hot dry it’s a really nice snug fit. Not tight, but snug. I wasn’t looking for a sloppy slouchy fit. Very happy with the end result and especially the price. As a short guy shirts/sweaters are usually too long unless I buy them from places like Ash & Erie or Peter Manning NYC. This sweater is now a really nice fit even in the length

Beautiful, classic, well made cable knit sweater

I purchased this sweater for my husband to match one that I have. He loves it, & the only criticism he has is that the sweater could be an inch or so longer (he's a big guy). We like to wear matching outfits sometimes.

Nice sweaters - not as loose as I was hoping

First, I really like these sweaters. I got the tan-ish color and the dark green. Both colors were exactly as expected. The detailing in the sweaters is very lovely and well done, and the sweaters seem very well-made overall. I did not give these 5 stars for a few reasons: 1. They run a little smaller than I was hoping (I like big, baggy sweaters), and I'm concerned they might shrink a bit on top of that. We'll see! 2. They are very heavy - almost uncomfortably so. 3. They are not soft. I did wear one for the entire day without desperately wanting to get out of it. But, they are not quite as comfortable as I was hoping they'd be. Lots of great stretch and detailing, so I'm going to keep them and hope they don't shrink too much. I always buy my clothes big, so I'm hoping that if they do shrink, it won't be to the point that they are unwearable.

Great sweater, comfortable and stylish

I purchased this sweater looking for a stylish and comfortable outwear option. I'm a fan of the old world British aesthetic. The sweater is hefty, and a bit larger than expected, but really comfortable. It works for general use and business casual environments. I have received compliments on it too, which is a nice bonus. I would recommend this as a great general purpose sweater.

It’s very comfotabe

Hi. I bought TWO of these sweaters for my husband for Xmas. Well he could not have been happier ! He told me that the sweater kept him nice and warm and he very much loved the softness I goy thr navy blue and the I think it “ Kelly green”. And they look really nice on him. My husband stands 5’11’ and about 220 pounds and I got him an X-Large and it looked good on him with room to spare. He had a tshirt and a dress long sleeve shirt under that sweater and he still had a little room to spare. I would highly recommend this sweater. Ur other half will be happy with ur purchase for him. U will be also happy and the price of the sweater is really good. Thank you to this company for a well made product for us consumers. It’s nice to get something worth buying Hey one more thing. I washed it and it came out wonderful and I even dried in dryer and to my surprise it came out wonderful as well it didn’t stretch or look crappy. It looked brand new. Go ahead and buy this sweater u and the person u give it to will be pleased. ????

Great product at great value for money.

I liked the quality most so far but I have yet wear and wash . It is cotton which I find usually keeps it shape and appearance .I ordered a small but would have probably got away with an extra small as a female . I had difficulty in finding a cable knit in this colour and quality for women and particularly at the price . I would say it’s a great alternative to a wool knit Aran cable that can be irritating.

Good product

A good product. It fits well, but for the most part, but the cuffs and the lower part of the body arent elasticated so do hang a little, but that is to be expected given the price you are paying compared to other companies selling similar jumpers. For the price, it is a real bargain. In terms of material thickness, it is reasonably thick, but not enough to keep you warm in a very cold temperature.

Lovely design

Bought this to replace a favourite worn out jumper for my husband. The quality is better than it appears in the photo. I was quite impressed for the price I paid. He is saving it to wear at Christmas. It fits very well and looks smart.

Jumper

The jumper is nice and fits nicely, however it does not wash will. We washed it on a 30 wash and hung it up to dry, and it has lost some the elasticity around the neck and the bottom bit. It doesn't bother me that much as i don't mind it being a little baggy, but it is a little disappointing when feel and pattern of the jumper is great.

Thick Chunky Cableknit Sweater

An excellent 100% cotton sweater in an attractive traditional cable knit pattern. The quality is so good that I ordered a second one to ring the changes. So I have both a green one and a light grey one. I’m a 40” regular fit and the Medium fits comfortably. Sleeves can be turned up at the cuff or rucked up the arm if a little on the long size.
