Great addition for my cat

This was easy to put together and looks amazing it my cats corner. Right away my cat was climbing up and down it. I wish it would’ve came with a hammock and extra cushion inside the square. Other than that no complaints. It’s even easy to clean! The cream color is great.

Cats love it!

It was great quality for a very reasonable price, both cats loved it as soon as it was put together, (easy to build) the scratching posts will save your furniture as well !!!...lol

Cats love it. WIsh they had used sisal rope on the posts.

My cats all want the top bed. Each wants to be the king of the mountain. It's height offers security and viewing. Next level gives access to playing with the balls. Other levels can be short to reach for large cats so I placed a shorter tree next to this tree to give steps down to the floor. ONLY 2 things I would change. Jute rope on the posts does not last. My cats have scratched away the jute and carpet top ring after only a few months. Suggest sisal rope for your next version. Plus the tree is beginning to wobble. This might not be the best for larger heavy cats.

She loves it so much

For the price this is a great cat tree, my little kitty loves the second bowl from the top and spends all her time lurking there.

Small cats only

This cat condo is slim even though it appears sturdy. There are two errors in the instructions. 1. Box 6. They indicate that screw W1 is to be used. However, there were only five W1s in the packet but two W3s. The W3 fits this instruction. 2. Box 7. The instructions indicate the rope insert to be turned clockwise. It won't screw in unless it is turned counterclockwise. My kitty weighs 8 lbs. This structure is a fit with no wiggle room. The area that holds the box in content "D" would be better suited for jumping cats if the area outside the box were just a few inches longer.

Cats and I love this tree, but posts need to be wrapped in sisal, not jute.

I love this tree for placing in front of a sunny window. It's a perfect height to love on the cat sleeping on either of the beds. There are two things I would change. The first is the posts should be wrapped with sisal instead of jute for durability. The second is that the top bed could be bigger for larger cats. It is very stable and sturdy. I also like the fact that it's lightweight enough to move easily.

the balls are dangerous; leave them off

The media could not be loaded. We had this about 10 weeks, when our kitten's tail got caught in the toy with the elastic string and ball, as she jumped down. She was trapped, hanging by her tail, crying like she never had before. I don't know what would have happened to her, if my wife hadn't been right there to free her. So, I urge you to not connect those toys, or don't leave them connected when you're not around, at least. Aside from that, our kitten loves this tree. It's held up pretty well, although little bits of fuzz come off where she uses her claws on the carpeted parts. She likes to do bunny kicks on the ladder. Also, she has gotten big enough to get her claws above the rope part of the scratching posts, so the carpet above that is starting to come off. The top tower started to come loose, so I recently had to tighten that bolt. She likes to climb all over it, and all of our other furniture, too. Overall, we're very satisfied with it.

Not bad for the price

I’m not a great assembler of anything but the instructions were fairly easy to follow - just make sure you make a note of how the screws are placed or you’ll have to disassemble and start over . The stairs were cumbersome as other reviewers mentioned but with patience - it all fit together. Not bad for the price .

Well designed. Good value. Looks nice.

Assembled the cat tree in about 1/2 Hr. Everything fit together well. All parts were there. Lots of sisal posts for cats to wreak havoc on. Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. My cats took to it right away and one of them is usually curled up in one of the perches. My minor criticism is that the carpeting is quite thin, although it looks good. The other is that the perches mounted on sisal posts are a little wobbly no matter how tight you install them. It may be due to the method by which they are attached internally to the tubes. I'm not too worried about it as the cats don't seem to mind. I'll address it with a more robust solution if the need arises. Still, a cat tree of this design would normally have cost at least 50% more at a pet store, so I'm happy with the purchase, and I recommend it. ***Update*** I'm updating this review to give my solution to the slightly unstable sisal perch posts. Turn out the wobbling is caused by the plastic inserts that also contain the fastening nuts. The plastic is held in place by staples. I reinforced the plastic with some fine finishing nails and 3 screws. The post is now very stable and firm. Only took me a few minutes to solve this problem. ***UPDATE*** It's now 15 months later and I've just bought another one exactly the same. My cats have pretty well thrashed the sisal rope and some of the carpeting is worn through. I've set up the new one and I'll take the other one apart and try my hand at replacing the sisal rope. All in all, the time duration is about the same as other cat tree.scratching posts I've used in the past so not disappointed. My cats do love to curl up on this tree and it looks good sitting in the corner. I did have to spend 10 Min. and install screws in the bases with the perches as they are quite wobbly otherwise. No big deal. Still very pleased.

Definitely recommend! (dual platform beige)

I bought the beige dual platform and I love it. My cats also love it and the beds are very roomy for them. I have a Maine coon mix who is about 12 lbs and he fits comfortably in either bed. I bought this to replace one from Wayfair that broke after less than a year. This one seems like it will be sturdier since the screw holes are reinforced with metal. I’m considering buying another for a different room, the only thing holding me back is that I don’t think the beige colour will match the room. I also thought that the price seemed very reasonable compared to others I’ve seen, so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

Amazing product. Worth the money!

Amazon Basics cat trees do not disappoint. They are sturdy and made with good quality velvet. This is my third cat tree from them and my cats loved each of them. Delivery was super quick, packaging was great and clear instructions of assembly were included. Product looks exactly like it is in the picture only the grey colour is a lighter than shown. We also got a complimentary dangle toy, which is good because cats are playing with that the most.

My cat's in love! So am I!

Usually when I buy something new for my cat she looks at it with utter distain then ignores it for months, if not for ever. Not this cat tree! Before I'd even got all of it out of the box. she had run into the cubby hole, then lay on the base. After a relatively easy construction, she leapt straight up onto it and adores it. This morning she is on it again straight away, looking like the cat that got the cream. It's just right height for her to watch the birds and her cat friends who come into our garden. The lower perch goes just above the UPVC band inear the middle of the floor-length window, so she can see most things, the other is high enough for her to see far and wide, feeling she is queen of the world. She's not a small cat, but both perches are plenty big enough for her. When she's not on it she is very contentedly rolling on her back. I don't know what this tree contains that has entranced my cat so, but it has been astounding and very welcme. She looks like she might even be better behaved and not quite so fiesty. Lovely to look at, good quality, easy to assemble and very stable, right size, perfect, and that's the tree, not my cat! I might be in for an easier life! One of my best buys ever!

Looks great!

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this for my 1.5 y/o cat, received it in a day (with Prime). Was pretty simple to assemble, and it looks great. I was cautious about how sturdy it was given I saw some other reviews mentioning that it wasnt sturdy enough. After assembling, it looks pretty sturdy to me. My cat already seems to like it and loves playing with the hanging ball and rope. He's already started sleeping on it. Happy with it so far! Note - I am writing this review the same day as I received the product. So, my opinion might change later. If it changes I'll come back and edit the review.
