Great storage for blankets, well-built for price (in October 2022: $45)
EDIT 1/27/2023: OK, I didn't realize I purchased this at the absolute bottom price of $44.52 in the end of October '22. I don't know if I'd say it's amazing for the price at $150+. --- It’s likely Amazon copied this from another manufacturer that sold well to make higher margins direct to buyers. If that bothers you, I would seek the original maker. That said, we use this in our living room to store blankets and pillows for the couch for a movie or TV night. We’ve also purchased a much cheaper storage ottoman with a top you can remove, but I wish I had found this one earlier. I think this should last us longer without worrying about keeping it pristine as a future family heirloom. With that in mind I found the build quality high for the price. I wouldn’t recommend using it as a stool. For seating by a front door it would be fine. We have hard floors, and the feet slide a bit. If it bothers me I’ll add sled adhesive rubber pads below the feet. The lid has a single hinge to protect anyone’s hands when you let go of the top, and it’s spring tension is so strong you have to force it down to close it. Some people may find that slightly annoying, but I’d rather have it than a lid that rests on my head while I rummage. The cushioning on top is firm as there isn’t much foam over the particle board (assumption) lid top. For kicking your feet up, it’s not a problem at all. Even our pups like to lay on it from time to time. I think this could withstand two or three moves no problem if you wrap it. If it degrades quickly I’ll update my review and lower the rating. If it lasts 6+ years for us I’ll be happy. My guess is the fabric upholstery will be the first to degrade. The gray is slightly warm with a cross hatch texture. I like it. For anyone with a smaller space who needs multi-use furniture, is on a budget but doesn’t like to buy the cheapest option out there, and feel too lazy to go to IKEA, this is a solid option.

Ok this definitely looks good. It hold a TON of shoes. You can sit on it while putting on shoes. But mine doesn’t close all the way and I can ALWAYS see a gap. Which is making me crazy. But other than that it’s perfect.

Its sturdy
The color is true to the picture and its sturdy. I dont sit on it for long periods but it is comfortable. It lives in the entry to my apartment. Convenient for getting shoes off and out of sight. I dont care for shoes strewn about the doorway, unless someones visiting. A good solution to declutter my small living space. Easily fits several pairs of shoes, boots and 46 liter backpack.

No surprises from this listing
Does exactly what I needed it to. It neatly contains the pillows and bedding for our fold out guest bed. Charcoal gray is slightly bluer than expected, but not so much so that it's a problem.

Great value, mediocre quality
It comes pre-assembled which is great. It looks good and feels sturdy. However, the hinges for opening are poorly built. After one use it no longer closes flush and has a gap on one side

Very happy with purchase
Was worried about purchasing something like this through Amazon but it has been a great buy. Perfect size to hold/hid all my crafts on the go. Great height for stretching out your legs. Works good as additional seating when needed too. Colour was what I was expecting. Have only had for a few weeks but seems to be holding up well.

Worth the Money
This is a good deal. I attempted to purchase an Ottoman from another retailer. I had to wait 3 months for it to arrive and it was damaged in shipping. I returned that and ordered this from Amazon. It arrived within two days. Was less expensive than the other and just as functional and sturdy. It's not super heavy construction but it seems sturdy enough for its purpose. I would purchase again from this seller. All in all, a positive experience.

Great prodcut, simple and nice looking
Value for money is excellent on this one. It's nice looking. It has a big storage compartment. It's comfy to sit on. I put it near the entrance door and it's really great for that. It came fully assembled.

Love this ottoman!
This product was exactly what I was looking for! Great value for a great price! Nice and sturdy. Came fully assembled in box. Nice and light to easily move if needed. Comfortable to sit on when putting on our socks and shoes and nice deep storage inside for extra shoes, sweaters, hats, mitts, etc.
