Works great!
Woks good, not issues

Hope it is louder
First of all, it does work, hope it is louder but for the price it is acceptable. For it to work properly, you have to speak point blank at the microphone, otherwise it won't work.

Didn't deliver
I really wanted to like this...the horn sounds great; however the buttons are a bit cheap and take a bit of finagling to get them work - I still do not know how we did nor if we can do it again. but the siren still works")

Use it around local Fair to have judge speak to crowd and also to announce events during Fair. Works great!

Unusual Use
You are not going to believe what I use this for. I live in a mobile home park and nearly once a year I have a possum to take up residence under my house. I have paid exterminators between three hundred and four hundred dollars each time to get rid of them over the years. This last one really set up a stink right under my bedroom. I could always tell when he/she was there because it smelled so bad. I finally used my head and took a hint from "Riddex" which plugs into the wall to get rid of mice, rats, and roaches. It repells them by making a nuisance of itself. It repeatedly blinks for a while indicating that it is sending a repetitive "sound" over the wires in a pattern... and then it pauses. The pause gives much needed relief... but then it does it all over again. That is the annoyance. So I set this Megaphone on the police alarm and placed it face down on my floor vents and did the same thing. I would turn it on and off, on and off, then pause, and do it again. I had to do it for about five minutes every day for about four or five days, but it made the possum finally leave and it has not come back. Now my megaphone sits in silence... just waiting for the next one to show up. This has been the cheapest, safest, and fastest way to get rid of a possum that I have ever seen. It does not harm the critter, but it gets it out from under my house. Oddly enough my neighbor called and wanted to know if I had gotten rid of my possum, because now he had one. I told him what I had done, and I hope he got rid of his, too. He has not said.

WOW, it has power, but be nice to the buttons
Consider that i did pay $20 for it and that the regular price seems to be around $42. i was pleasantly surprise with this gizmo's power!!! i am giving it 4 stars because it is not made for rough use. the buttons are slightly flimsy and i am sure if i am not careful they will break. it is not an item i would allow kids to play with because just watching how my grandchildren wanted to record and play so many times in a row made me take it away after a couple of minutes. That said i find it is EXCELLENT small megaphone with quite a powerful volume and very nice extra features. it was very funny for the kids to hear my voice call their name and not knowing where it was coming from. the recording feature works well and clear. i am very happy with the product and would highly recommend it. it is plastic and durable with a fairly good sturdy casing, the buttons are somewhat flimsy, still made with "china" quality. if you are looking to use it with moderate care i think it will be ok. i would not just throw it around though. i just need some crowd control when all the kids are visiting and are playing outside because i want to be able to call their attention or discipline them, without raising my voice or yelling because they are a distance.

love/hate it!
The most economical model, proving the highest watts for the lowest price though was the white Pyle. At $15 for 30-watts, it was only 50 cents per watt. Compared to 2 dozen other models, including Pyle and Uzi offerings, costing up to 3 times more per watt! So I bought it. I love love/hate it. It seems to be very clearly understood when pointed at subject, but damn battery door keeps opening all the time! Even when NOT being moved.

You get what you pay for
Put the batteries in, turned it on, and....nothing. I thought I maybe put the batteries in the wrong way. Pushed the release button and....nothing. It's stuck and you can't push it in. Had to use a small screwdriver (like one you would use for eyeglasses) to pick into the release part. After picking at it, the compartment finally opened. The batteries had been placed in there correctly. Closed it and tried again. It still didn't work. My husband shook it a couple of times and now it works. The alarm is pretty loud. Totally annoys my teenagers. To make your voice loud, you have to speak pretty close to the microphone...like you may need to touch it with your lips. Have bacterial wipes handy. Gave this 4 stars for the hassle of having a stuck battery compartment door. I should deduct another star for future problems with opening the compartment door. And maybe deduct a second star because we had to shake it to get it to work which tells me this isn't going to last very long. Not wasting time registering this bullhorn. Cheaper to buy another one rather than send it in for repairs.

Works well, extra features aren't great
As a megaphone or voice amplifier, it works well. The microphone isn't very sensitive until you're within an inch or less from it, but I haven't tried shouting into it. For casual talking, it amplifies quite well when your lips are practically or literally touching the microphone grill. The volume control feels a little bit non-linear, but it seems sturdy, and you won't accidentally bump it and knock the volume all the way up when you don't want to. The "power" button does exactly that, there is no push-to-talk, it's either on or off. If it's on, the microphone is live. I haven't yet figured out if the microphone plays along side the other sounds, they are louder than the mic output at my own voice volume, and I'm not inclined to annoy the neighbors. The alarm siren on mine is a fairly fast up and down sliding sound, almost as if using a slide whistle and changing tone four times a second. The tone itself is not at all light a whistle though, only the tone changing is as I described. The sound itself is, kind of like that of a police car, but much faster than you normally hear from emergency vehicles. The "music" button is kind of pointless, it plays a high-pitched "Fur Elise", which serves no purpose at all. If necessary, the first two or three notes of it can be used in conjunction with the siren, but realistically, I don't like either one of these features. I would prefer a longer, lower sounding siren, similar to what you'd hear from a fire truck, because that I feel would get attention, rather than just add to some noise. And perhaps switch out the music button for something a bit more practical. Sound quality seems ok, it's about what you'd expect from a twenty dollar megaphone, clear enough, loud, has that "amplified a hundred times" kind of sound to it, so it is ok. The build of this device is suitable, once it has batteries in it, the battery compartment won't open accidentally, the buttons and volume slider are cheap, but they're the cheap type that generally works forever. It is NOT waterproof at all. Heavy rain, take it inside, or get it under cover. Light rain, cover the microphone side with your hand while you use it, and put it under a coat when you're not. It should survive that quite well. If you are concerned about further waterproofing, a bit of electrical tape around the handle-to-bell seam will protect the speaker. Four stars instead of five, because of the extra (and in my opinion, pointless) features.

Great Megaphone
I am a PE teacher teaching outside all year during the pandemic, and we loosing my voice yelling instructions to kids. This was by far one of my best COVID purchases. It's lightweight, and my voice can be heard from very far away while using this megaphone. It is really light weight, (it's the 4 D batteries that add weight to it). The song button that comes a feature is terrible, but I'm not sure why you need to use it anyway. I would definitely recommend this product and I will never buy a big bulky megaphone again. Exceptional value. Also I've used it everyday for the past month and the batteries are still going strong.

Excellent
I was initial skeptical about this product, however I was very impressed she it arrived. It features an easy to use trigger style handle and sounds great. Very clear. Love the volume slider aswell as the built siren and music feature.

10/10 Recommend
Works absolutely perfectly! This was one of my stoned impulse buys, but I have zero regrets. If you’re looking for a megaphone I highly recommend this one. The only negative thing I can think of is that it doesn’t have a port for a microphone (which I knew when I purchased).

Excellent
Great quality product. I bought this for my father in law who has dementia and likes going to his garage at end of garden if he needs any help or needs to get anyone’s attention he uses it and works perfectly
