Worth it
At first I thought this was going to be a waste of money. Because when I tried it with my newborn he hated it. I figured "he's too small, and it probably scares him". I waited until he was a bit bigger, closer to 1 Month old. And we can't live without it at night. After his routine warm bath, and feeding we swaddle him and lay him in it. Turn it on to the highest swing setting within 10-15 minutes... BOOOM sound asleep!! And every time he wakes up at night to eat, be changed and Re swaddled, into the swing he goes! And he's back sound asleep. We remove him out of it, swaying him back and forth slowly like the swing, lay him in his bassinet and that's it! Idk how long this will work for us until he's "immune" to it's magical sleeping affects. But we definitely couldn't get the sleep we're getting without it! We don't use the vibration or music. We have white noise machine, so that puts him to sleep. But this swing is definitely worth it!

Swings a little bit fast but baby likes it
Issues with speed: When the swing first arrived, I was very shocked at how aggressively it swings back-and-forth. The swing speed range from level one to level six. We set it to level one and were appalled at how fast it already was, even with our 10-lb baby weighing it down. Level six was an extreme safety hazard…. We contacted Graco, and they sent us a new one after we returned this one. Although the new one is a lot slower, it still does seem a little bit too fast. We secure it down with a blanket even on level one so that it doesn’t swing too aggressively. This seems to fix the issue. Not sure if other people had the same issue with their swings. In some review videos I saw, the swings don’t move as aggressively as ours does. Sounds (positives): We love the sound settings on the swing. Our baby especially likes the womb sounds. He doesn’t really seem to like the other ones, but that’s just individual preference. We sometimes leave the womb sounds on when he is sleeping in his crib because that’s how much he likes it. He is not really the type to like music, but the music setting is also really nice with a lot to choose from. Sounds (negative): Wish that the volume on the sounds can be a little bit higher. The non-musical sounds are pretty quiet even on the highest setting. It works well and there’s no ambient noise, but when there’s ambient noise the sound from the swing is drowned out. Set up: Honestly, this is really easy to set up (in my opinion). A lot of people complain that is very difficult, but even without instructions I feel that it is very self intuitive. I am not one to usually set up things, and I still only spent about 5 to 10 minutes setting this up. However, taking this thing down when you have to return it is a huge pain in the butt. So hopefully if you order this, you don’t have any issues that require you to return it. Vibration: The vibration setting is nice if your baby likes vibrations, but it is extremely annoying that you have to put in a new battery every single time. I don’t understand why the swing itself and sounds function by plugging it in, but the vibration setting requires batteries. Batteries are so expensive nowadays. I wish that the vibration setting could also function by plugging it in rather than using batteries. Other: Overall, our baby loves the swing. It really helps me get stuff done around the house as he watches me from the swing. Glad I got this; it really does provide a much needed respite.

Finally a swing my newborn likes
Finally a swing that works for our baby. My one month old loves this. We tried a swing that swings front and back and another rocker that sits up right and swivels left to right, he hated both with a passion and screamed the second we put him in it. He loves the left to right swinging function of this swing. Easy to assemble, good swinging power, relatively quiet. It’s quite tall but length and width isn’t much bigger than a regular swing. Worth the money.

USES EVERY DAY!
so we got the graco slim fit swing and it went forward and back my newborn hated it with a passion you could tell he did. so we bought this one that goes side to side "the swaying motion" he loves it we use it every say for mulitple hours and that is because he has colic so it helps him soothe we love it and we love that it has the plug to be able to plug it into the wall as well it for sure saves us 10 a pack for batteries.

Squeaky.
My baby is 8 pounds and has been using this swing a few times weekly for about a month. At first it was pretty quiet and you couldn’t tell that the swing was on, the vibration however is sort of loud. But now, after only a month of minimal use it’s squeaks loud enough I can hear it through out the house. I’m contacting Graco so hopefully they can offer a solution. The squeaking in loud enough it distracts my kiddo from falling asleep. Other than that, the swing is awesome.

Did wonders
Really helped my daughter sleep longer. And long enough to get things done around the house. Definitely recommend if you have lots of things to do if you have little ones

Overall good value and product
Ordered this and received it the next day- yay. Assembly was overall pretty easy, except the pictures are great on the instructions and don’t differentiate right and left sides, so you need to focus and look closely. I installed one of the middle poles the wrong way and didn’t realize why assembly wasn’t working but then I called Graco customer service who was very patient and eventually helped me figure out what I had done wrong. As for the device itself— Pros: it is not huge, and it’s easy move around. Assembly easy and quick. My baby took a good nap in it on second use. Straps easy to use. Cons: music doesn’t get very loud. Mobile doesn’t rotate and is not colorful so I find that feature a little pointless. I’m still not sure what the difference is between the numbered swing settings. Remember, you need to put it near an outlet for power, otherwise it’s 4 D batteries. And there is a vibration feature which also requires a battery (one more D battery- this function can’t be run via wall power)
