I wear 9, I bought 8 and they are perfect!
The media could not be loaded. Please check video review for more details. I haven't had a chance to check if they leak yet but, so far, they are EXACTLY what I was hoping for: - very light, very flexible and precisely fit my inseam of 32 inches (I am 5.10 and 175 pounds). Also it may help to specify that my upper thigh measurement is 23 inches. - Weight - 1.87 pounds EACH boot. I will definitely need and insole because they are a little too big and because I am sure you can feel every rock through that sole. Again, I am very happy only from trying them on as they fit perfectly! I will post an update from "the field" first time I'm not too tired to go out fishing :) UPDATE - I bought insoles, cut them to size and the boots fit like James Bond's gloves :) I finally went to a local pond tonight and spent a little time in the water - not long, but in 20 min they didn't leak at all. I felt that my legs were slightly damp when I got out but then I considered all the factors - Florida humidity, colder water, skin against rubber - all condensation and sweat. - After reading another review, I was worried that if I wear only shorts the seam between the boot and the upper part of the wader will rub against my leg. No problem at all. I walked 3-4 miles around the lake and the waders are highly comfortable and very, very light.

Pretty Good for Inexpensive Waders
Very light weight and easy to get on and off. Been using them for water collection on my job for about two months now and am very happy. I highly recommend getting a pair of the Dr. Sholl's gel inserts. This will improve them 100% and make them very comfortable and walkable. I am a size 8 1/2 and bought the 8's. They fit like a glove.

Low priced Hip Wader, that appears to be well made and true to size.
Arrived much sooner than promised. Hard to tell how well they will work as it is close to four months from fishing season in Michigan. The boots seem to be well made, and fit my 13W foot without any extra (but not uncomfortable). My overall impression is that these are worth the $40 price tag (and not dissimilar to other waders on the market for $65). It will take a little practice to be able to don and doff these quickly but they go on easy enough. There are two straps on each leg. One to tighten the boot in the thigh area, and the second an adjustable loop which I believe is to be used with one's pants belt, as a means to hold the waders up. Rather than have the wader pull my pants down, I will likely add a pair of wide suspenders.

Great product, nice and dry
UPDATE: After my three day salmon trip (where they worked great) I took them to the Boundary Waters for a fishing trip. The waders leaked from the very beginning of the trip right where the seam is located at the top of the boot. I will tell you, the last place you want to have faulty equipment is the Boundary Waters a week after the ice has melted. This made for an unnecessarily wet and annoying trip. I tried to return them but it appears they were sold by Flash Furniture, so I'm already assuming I won't be able to get an exchange. I DO NOT recommend these. If you get them, go straight through Allen. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Fit: I ordered these waders for the size tennis shoe I wear, but they were too big. I then ordered a pair for the size dress shoe I wear (which is 1 size smaller than my tennis shoe) and they fit perfectly. Function: These are really great. I broke them in with a three day salmon fishing trip in some very large rivers, and they functioned well. The terrain I covered to get to the fishing spot was full of steep banks where you had to grab roots to get down and up, and the boots had fantastic traction (much better than my buddy's chest waders). In the water, they kept me perfectly dry with no water at all inside. While they were great, hip waders are a little low for river wading so I would suggest chest waders if that's something you do much of. However, I will continue to use these when I hike to fish on small streams and when I'm launching a boat. They pack and fold up nicely in the closet and take up hardly any space. Great product.

Pull the waders on by the boots not the legs
For the price, these waders are a great value. The legs were a bit snug but that was my problem as I am a bit on the larger side. I read the reviews before I made the purchase and saw that a few persons were complaining that the waders leaked so I was a little concerned. After my initial examination of the waders I saw were and why this problem might exist. The legs are attached to the boots causing a weak point. I suspect that when the waders were pulled on, some persons pulled them on by the leg rather than by the boot. These would cause stress at the joining and could/would cause separation. I, therefore, suggest that the seller/manufacturer include instructions on how to properly pull on the waders.

Not just good, these are GREAT waders.
Thus is my second pair of Black Water waders. I bought my first one August of 2018. I wore them well over 400 times. I figure they had about 300 miles on them. I just plain wore the boot soles down to where they split. I did puncture them on some blackberry bushes as I'm not one to take trails, a little aquaseal and a patch, they were good to go. You won't find better waders at any price as far as I'm concerned.

As described, a bit narrow when usiing warm sox and insoles.
Have not used these yet but they seem well made and designed. I am a woman size 9 with a wide fit. I had to go up a size to get the width. Bought men's size 8 and they fit well with a wool felt insole and heavy sock. They seem easy to walk in and not too clunky. I like the thigh cinch strap rather than using the belt strap as I will be using them getting in and out of the boat. These cut down the weight over my all rubber boots by a third. Using the same insole and sock combo, my husband found that the width was a bit narrow and the next size became too long.

Good value
Nice light weight and fairly durable wader. I put an insole in it for added support. Fit is consistent with shoe size.

Light weight and waterproof
I’ve had these a couple of years now and they are a good value for the price. I’ve had no issues with leaks and they don’t make you sweat as bad as other hip waders I’ve owned.

I was worried that they might tear easily due to the thinness
I work for the Water Survey division of Environment Canada and I have been using these waders for a few weeks. I was worried that they might tear easily due to the thinness, but they are holding up perfectly. These are super comfortable and light. If you are looking for any kind of thermal insulation, these are not the waders you want, but for the hot summer temperatures, these are really nice to wear. I don't even take these off when I'm driving most of the day. I will be buying more of these for work.
