I bought this on February 14th 2014. I might very well have been one of the first to have bought this. I bought this along with the 16in shower arm. I might have to have the coupling that holds head to arm replaced. But the head it's self is holding up very well. Real stainless steel does not rust, It generally shows corrosion not rust. Corrosion is generally caused from hard water. It is now November 19th 2016. I opted for the 12in over concern I wouldn't have enough pressure. My wife does complain every once in awhile that it doesn't get all of the conditioner out of her hair. Ours is just under 7 feet from the shower floor 6.8 feet to be exact. That almost 1 foot difference from your standard shower head makes you have to turn up the water temperature a little higher and you will lose pressure. Cleaning I found after about the first year it's better to clean the nozzles when it is dry and been off for a while rather than attempting to clean them while in the shower the greater speed you can flip the nozzles will cause the build-up to come out better you'll actually feel the little stones that have developed from the calcium buildup. I have not tried to bathe the shower head in CLR. I would have to remove the head to do that due to having real marble on floors and walls. See pictures close up's were taken 11/19/2016. I don't regret buying. If something were to happen to this one I would probably purchase again.

Awesome style. Not so awesome water consumption

I like the style of this shower head, very thin, I mounted it close to the ceiling (using a 1.5 inch brass nipple) and it looks awesome. This shower head doesn't have water restrictor nor aerator (to infuse air bubble like some of the newer water saver shower head). This could be either pro or con depend on people liking/city code. With my valve fully open, this shower head filled a 5 gallon bucket in a minute so the flow rate is ~ 5 gpm (depending on your water line and pressure). Therefore it will not be compliance with some city code that restrict shower head to 2.5 gpm. 4 stars for style and construction. 1 star off for water usage and lack of air infusion. Also if your water is hard, the nozzle clogged up easily, so far (a couple weeks) a wipe over the nozzle clear up the clog. Mine didn't come w/ 5 replacement valves as listed in the description.

Very nice, would purchase again!

We love our rain head! It's the perfect size, almost the same size as the ceiling tile. It doesn't seem to use near as much water as the high-pressure shower heads, and is very relaxing. Our remodel contractor installed it with a small 1-inch piece that he got from a local plumbing supply store - we wanted it almost flush with our ceiling so it was the most like rain. He said the installation was very easy. Our only complaint is that water does not seem to come out of every hole.

Lasted 3 years with no problems

Not bad, it lasted 3 years before water blew out of the side. The next one I decide on will not be secured so tightly and easier to remove so I can run vinegar water through it regularly clear build up, even though, once removed it didn’t seem to have much build-up.

Lasted a Little Over Four Years

We have had this shower head for a little over four years. I see it is now selling for over $100 but I don't think we paid that much for it. Regardless, the seam broke a couple days ago and it started shooting water up at the ceiling so we had to remove it. It served us pretty well over the last four years but we were never satisfied with the water pressure restricter which is mandated by federal law on all shower heads. It is essentially a very gentle rain but we would actually prefer a little more water flow. We will not be purchasing another one of these since the first one broke. I have included a pic of the split between the top and bottom plates.

Not a good quality product

We bought 2 units for our remodel bathroom shower set. Once in use, you have to constantly adjust those small water outputs to make sure they shoot straight downward every time we turn on the water. Otherwise they will shoot out randomly at different directions. 9 months after, one of the unit split open at the seam while the shower was on, water splashed everywhere. Not a good quality product. Don't know how long the 2nd unit will last. Definitely not buying again

It’s huge

Got an amazing deal with a warehouse price so i cannot complain at all it’s really really nice. And huge this thing is big. Don’t think I’d ever pay the regular price for it because there’s similar ones for a third of the price but yes it’s a high quality really nice rain shower head

Exactly what I'd hoped for in a rain shower head!

When I added a bathroom to my home, I knew I wanted a rain shower head, but as I researched options, they were hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I knew I wanted a large rain shower head, so that was only adding to the cost. I searched on Amazon and found this 12-inch, square rain shower head and was a little apprehensive because of the low cost, but I bought it. It's wonderful! The water pressure coming through is fantastic (please view the photos I uploaded). Its large size makes it truly feel like I'm standing under a rain shower. I've only had it a short time, but so far, so good.
