Nice Quality

This is a great little adaptor. I bought it to put in my tool roll on my Harley, so I can use the adapter to drive a 3/8 driven spark plug socket, and still only have to carry one ratchet i.e. 1/4 in. Which saves a lot of room and some weight. Of course it will drive ANY bigger 3/8 sockets also, so it's a really great and very compact way, to expand what size sockets you can carry and use. It works great and is very good quality.

Works great and awesome price. All my tools are craftsman because of how durable they are and work. Just keep in mind its a 1/4 to 3/8 socket that means it cant be use for ill say torques over 150 lbs. Probably could but it will worn out faster and break.

Perfect product, this is not a drive reducer, its enlarging from 1/4 to 3/8's.

There is nothing wrong with this product at all. I am a Craftsman fan, their products last. I have never had to take them up on their warranty offer, their tools last. I did however buy this in error, mostly my rushed mistake. It does clearly say 1/4 inch drive at the end but the first bit '3/8's to 1/4 socket adapter' I misread to be a socket that fits a 3/8 drive which reduces to a 1/4 inch drive. What it is however, is a 1/4 drive socket that steps the drive head up from 1/4" to 3/8" drive. You would be using a quarter inch drive on 3/8 drive sockets. It will do the job perfectly excepting that you could potentially be stressing a quarter inch drive to remove a three quarter inch bolt, not something that's is typically practiced. If you are looking to step DOWN a 3/8" drive to be able use some smaller 1/4 sockets with your larger ratchets this is the opposite of that.

Good so far

Bought these to make socket sets I have more usable.Can't speak to durability being Craftsman I expect they'll be as good as their other handtools
